Nothing wrong with a little 'swinging' and 'hotwifing'.....
Like I said all the ex-jw's I personally know are quite sexual :)

"shocking as it is, even some who have been prominent in jehovah's organization have succumbed to immoral practices, including homosexuality, wife swapping, and child molesting.".

this morning i received this story in my email:.
i am now 36 years old i type that in caps because i feel 100, my body and mind have been broken over the years by the " brothers.
" my story starts at a very young age when my father an elder in the congregation raped me.
You talk about the awful, cowardly men who have power to do something about this, to stop it or inform others...who is higher than god?
If god allows this sort of thing to go on, how can you say he is a loving god or even exists? Isn't he a much eviler person than a mere elder? my 2ยข

James Randy specliazes in debunking things such as spoon bending, mind healing, levitation, parlor tricks, etc. He hardly touches remote viewing.
http://www.webcom.com/way/ingoswan.html
That link has a detailed and scientific ananlysis of remote viewing including the first CIA sponsered experiments and other experiments doen in the early 1970's. I don't agree with Ingo Swann's view as to how remote viewing works but oh well.
[q]Using the standards applied to any other area of science, it is concluded that psychic functioning has been well established. The statistical results of the studies examined are far beyond what is expected by chance. Arguments that these results could be due to methodological flaws in the experiments are soundly refuted. Effects of similar magnitude to those found in government-sponsored research at SRI and SAIC have been replicated at a number of laboratories across the world. Such consistency cannot be readily explained by claims of flaws or fraud.
The magnitude of psychic functioning exhibited appears to be in the range between what social scientists call a small and medium effect. That means that it is reliable enough to be replicated in properly conducted experiments, with sufficient trials to achieve the long-run statistical results needed for replicability.

call me a neopositivist, a semi-verificationist or semi-falsificationist, but the claims made by "silentlambs" reminds me of the shakespearean line that was quoted in the creator book published by the wtbts.
that is, the contentions of silentlambs seem like much "sound and fury" that in truth signify nothing.
i am of course referring to the supposed dateline show and the claims made about some members of the gb of jehovah's witnesses.
Dunscot tries to be an intellectual snob but comes across as a just a plain ol' snob.

tommy thompson said in a statement.
Wouldn't it be funny if science found a way to keep our cells regenerating forever, giving us an unlimited lifespan? That would kinda put a damper on religion wouldn't it.
i ran into a jw from my local congregation last night.
he was, to my surprise, very polite to me.
he was curious as to why i haven't been attending the meetings lately.
wow! Let's all go on a cruise!
