  these are toys just released in the us inspired by british filmmaker clive barker (hellraiser).

  those are some of the tamer ones.

  i doubt youll see these in most mainstream toy stores.

  i found another book from 1952 but i forgot the title..anyway these sell for alot on ebay so i will probably sell mine :).

  i remember that many jw's were falling for amway scams here in the us.

  one of amway's latest scams was quixtar, some internet online mall that is a complete rip-off.

  quixtar even used cult-like language, making up new words.

  Evolution or Creation or something else?

  it's a nasty circle, if you beleive in god, how can you say evolution is impossible since the argument goes "humans and life and the universe are so complicated they could not possibly arrise by mere chance" yet god is by definition infinitly more complicated than mere carbon-based life forms.

  and where did god come from?

  he was always there, or has no beginning or end, mystical answers like that.

  why are there so many star trek refferences among x-jw's?

  like the borg getting assimilated, etc.

  i heard before that star trek was very popular in bethel despite warnings not to watch it.

  Final Fantasy Movie: Eastern Philosophy

  hey i haven't posted here before but i've been lurking for quite some time..anyway i just saw final fantasy and enjoyed the eastern philosophy/religious thought presented in the film.

  is anyone versed in the ideas and theology of shintoism, buddhism and others?

  i find the ideas very interesting.
