  Announcing the Great Apostate Song Contest.

  inspired by district overbeer valis and his smurf sticker contest, i decided to up the ante and announce a song contest for all you so inclined to play.. what i have in mind is this: take any recorded song you like, even the dreaded jw kingdom songs, and redub them to something much more fun!.

  if you have a cool bastardized song (well that is what valis says it is called when you do this) then we can try it out at some of the apostofests that seem to be popping up like crazy all over!.

  Why Do JW Leave and Want Nothing to Do With God

  i find reading this information from different individuals that being a jw and then leaving has people not wanting anything to do with god.

  did god tell us to become members of a cult?

  i think it is a form of programming that is given over and over that we would be like a dog returning to its vomit.

  I believe that the bible had a place in time and that time ended not to long ago. With the advances in theories and the practical application of science Creation/God does not seem logical in many aspects.There are to many variables, forinstance why didn`t God make it a perfect world from the start did he want to see how we could have some much pain from sickness and death first?I believe that the bible is the longest fairytale ever and having been brought up with it and been able to see another angle and make my own decission gives me great peace.

  So why do we need to know how we got here?I don`t really care how,it won`t affect my life knowing how or why!So my daily routine goes on and I`m gonna live life any party hard and respect other people for what they are!

  how many of you have gotten them since leaving or piercings?

  i got my ear pierced right after i left and when i was living at home my dad said i couldn`t have it on in the house.i got a tatto about six years ago the look on my dads face was priceless at the beach but he never said anything.. beans.

  U.S. vs. UK pubs

  i have this steriotype in my mind regarding uk pubs.

  i see them as friendly places where people in the neighborhood congregate for friendly visits.

  englishman's comments seem to fit that description.

  The old fasioned PUB! Yes Pub culture that is what it is ,everyone from everywhere coming in to have a drink.Yes it is different in America,having been in Scotland and Germany the local pub atmosphire is different and is the place where friends family and work mates meet.People live in smaller living quarters in Europe so the PUB is there livingroom! We all need a Local!

  23 Years Later, My First Sheperding Call..........

  recently while passing by my front door i observed 2 witness's coming to my door, as well as a whole mini van packed with more.

  apparently it was again time to do the 5 year service of the town i live in.

  well, me being me, i continued on and plopped down on the couch and grabbed the remote.
