i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.
i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.

I don't believe we can ever objectively know with certainty how (dis)similar the historical Jesus was to the Jesuses preached by the different sects of early chrisitians. Which ever portrayal we choose, we can't escape the fact that it comes to us with alterations.
I'm very much in agreement on a point made by JamesThomas. Whats important is how our particular image of Jesus makes us act towards others.

My old hp scanjet can only do 300dpi so I hope these turn out to be satisfactory.
my computer fan keeps on coming on every few minutes and it is so noisy.. blueblades.
Excellent advice on first cleaning out the dust you currently have built up and then possibly getting a quiter fan. The cheapest route to go.
If you've localized the noisy fan to the CPU, you might also consider getting the types of heatsinks modders use (eg. Thermaltake) and then couple that to the very quiet fans that usually are also available for them. If the sound is definitely from the powersupply, there are p/s models out there that are very quiet as well. These solutions are very pricey though.

All depends on who Jesus really was and on what really happened back then. At least thats what I like to tell myself. I think though that my general apathy would very likely be a major hurdle to my doing anything.

IIRC, it started off well, giving some reasonable prosaic explanations for ufo sightings. Then the writing dept. had to wreck the rest of it with bringing in "the demonz" as possible agents too. Yeah..... like people couldn't be deceived by other people or even themselves.
