  thats right.. i am not going to give up on this.. australia will have its apostofest early next year i would love as many for australia and nz to come along.. i will keep pestering until i get yes's all round so you better start telling me yes.. it will be in sydney in february.

  i put up my tree tonight!!

  i bought another artificial tree.

  Yippeee tis the season to be jolly....tra la la - you know the rest.

  I'm going to wait until my joho relatives go home before I put up my tree...they're not quite used to me with my pagan ways...although they will be celebrating a birthday with us tomorrow, they don't mind that, but the tree might just blow their sox right off LOL.

  Hey Kep, are you gonna have frosting on your window?? LOL - simply festive!!

  I can't wait to put my tree up...my lights also play jingle bells, they are so annoying!

  these days, it takes a lot of money to make ends meet.

  i live in southern california, and it takes even more.

  let alone if one wants to get ahead in life.. in order to do that, either one needs schooling, or must own their own business.

  I am accused of it now, but I never was as a JW. My ex was into poverty, he believed (and still does) that the less you have (materially) the more spiritual you were. Of course this meant the more material things you had, or the nicer your material things were, then you were investing too much time in acquiring them instead of storing up treasures in heaven.

  What am I feeling for her?

  this is going to be a little rambling but i hope it makes sense.

  i won't use names out of privacy concerns, but it's as true as i can make it.. where i work, i've begun developing very strong feelings for a co-worker.

  her shift and mine overlap for a few hours each day, and i see her when one of her duties brings her to my area of the plant (otherwise we work in separate areas).

  Danger when pumping gas

  i saw this on a news show last night and i had never heard anything about it before.

  since i'm up till all hours of the night, i don't know if it was a prime time news show or late night so i can't tell you the name of the program.. it seems that there is a danger when pumping gas when folks return to sit inside their vehicle etc., they may pick up static electricity and then when going back to the nozzle, a spark from that static electricity can cause an explosion.

  rubbing your feet on the carpeted mats or sliding across the seat to get into the glove compartment can all pick up static and then, if the gas nozzle is the next thing you touch, it could cause an explosion.

  I have never seen anyone sit in their car while leaving the nossel in their car when they get gas. But as for static and electric shocks, I get them all the time...every time I touch metal I get a massive shock, I just hate it. Sometimes the shock is so bad it knocks me back...not off my feet, but I get a fairly big jolt up my arm and it goes right through me. I have no idea why this happens, one day I'm gonna light up like a Xmas tree.

  i would like to say that i have reached the point of "master member".

  i know it doesnt mean much to some but to me.. it makes me happy and i hope that some of my posts have made other people smile and feel good as their's have to me.. thanks for all your help everyone.. and simon, thanks to you also.. kelps who is now a master member!!.

  i know this topic gets mentioned a lot, but it still upsets me whenever i think about it.

  its so insane, and i get so angry that i never questioned it or used my own brain to see the absurdity in it when i was still "in".. what got me started today is the sheer numbers involved.

  the dubs believe only they will survive the big a. but not all of them - because those leading double lives etc will be killed as well as the rest of the 6 billion people on earth.
