you get annoyed when one of your threads peters out...or you make a comment on someone elses thread and it goes unacknowledged....but isnt it great when an old thread you'd forgotten about gets ressurected
Sometimes i see my old post appear and i think , man what the hell was i thinking and then hope it goes back into cyber spaceLMAO Me too! some things seem funny or half way intelligent when i type them..........then go back a few days later and WTF? lmao!!

i remember mine...it was in the days when all pupils gathered daily for a service to start the day even though it was not a religious school...anyway my sister had started the same school the previous year and my parents had informed the school that she would not be attending the daily service..not a problem..except for some reason they assumed that because i was the same surname the school would make the connection that i wasnt to go into service...but they didnt and so i found myself right at the front of the hall on my first day not even 5 years old in my new blazer and short trousers with all the other pupils behind me knowing i shouldnt be there..so i started crying..and first my teacher came to see what was wrong but quickly got frustrated because i couldnt explain myself..so she smacked me for crying and kept smacking me to get me to stop crying and then got the headmistress to smack me to get me to stop crying until eventually time was up and they had to cancel the service.....result...still loved school though...tijkmo
I don't remember being in school on the first day but I do remember the drive there!
My dad was driving me and it was only about 5 or 6 blocks. For some reason I thought I didn't get to say a good enough goodbye to my mom and I spazzed out and bailed out of the car door! (This was after the first attempt, so he had slowed the car down)
The Kindergarten teacher, Miss Pendleton, was very nice though.

ok, it?s taken me longer to get my thoughts together on this than i expected, but here is the reason that i have come to have doubts in the divine nature of the bible; its failure to show that the god it describes is abiding by "his" own standards.. for example, according to 2 peter 1:20, the entire bible is inspired of god.
the main attributes of "god" are that "he" is love (1 john 4:8), "he" is just (deuteronomy 32:4), and "he" has all of the power (revelation 7:12).. with that in mind, my first problem with the bibles authenticity is that this ?loving god?
murdered the entire world of men at one point in history by drowning them.
I am feeling the same way lately Jeannie...it really bothers me because my whole life I tried my hardest to try and please God and now I don't know if it would be a waste or not.
I don't know whether it's right or wrong but I feel that way also.

well my dear and trusted friends on this most esteemed forum...i would like you to meet my newest addition..."freedom frog".
he now graces my right arm and has been adopted into my family of frog tattoos.
(gizmo, on my left front leg above my ankle and flipper, another little frog above my right ankle, but to the side).
The flower is the one I have..but I'm getting a new one (one that I actually like) something along the lines of a dove..I'd like to have this image tattood on the top back of my neck.

it's been really inspiring looking at the many posts and threads on this board, and i've enjoyed posting quite a few myself.
regretfully, i feel that it's time to move on in my quest for inner peace, but i will always cherish meeting many friends along the way who support me.
i've had both bad times and good times here, but it was time well spent.

my daughter and i do not talk due to dfing etc in my life (she has now also left)so i emailed her for her birthday today, havent emailed her since last years bday
so she emailed from work in about 2 min, with her cell # to call her and said she was wondering last night if i would email today.....so cool, eh?
