i have joined in on your threads to give you a little kidding now and then but seriously man, i am praying for you that you have true peace in your life.

reading your threads it seems like you believe in the watchtower version of god who is a very unforgiving, unmerciful god who will destroy men, women and children just because they don't understand a certain bible verse or do not understand bible chronology on a certain topic.

Holy misapplication of scripture Batman!

don't know who else has to still suffer through meetings from time to time - but something struck me during last nights (thursday 12/6/07) final part from the km.

the part was on sharing our kingdom hope or something.

they list a scripture from hebrews 6 to start and end the km article and also one from ephesians 2. the whole context of those chapters in the bible is our hope in jesus and his ransom sacrifice and intervention as high priest.

The org knows this, too. At one circuit assembly, there was a whole part on not appearing to be a "Jesus basher"! Seriously, that's the word they used. If you're a Christian, and you're being mistaken for a "Jesus Basher", you ought to think something's probably wrong!!!

i was watching a 2004 (re-run) episode of average joe hawaii and larissa picked the handsome, muscular man over the loving, patient, understanding not so cute man.

i'm not sure if you're familiar with the show but in it this beautiful model/actress has to choose between an average joe and a good looking guy.

they started her off with 16 average looking men and eventually threw in 8 good looking ones to heat things up a bit.

There really is a lot to be said for that "chemistry" thing. I dated a woman briefly with whom there was no "chemistry". We were SO alike, on paper it shoulda worked. But by the 3rd date, we both knew it just wasn't gonna happen.

I have no idea what "chemistry" is, but it's either there or it's not.

SO freakin frustrating! Gnostic Gospels ebook...stupid PDF

hey everybody :/

so i bought the book the gnostic gospels off ebook.com as i was impatient and wanted to read it versus trying to order a print version and wait for it.

i figured it would be the best of both worlds because i could read it on my work computer in my down time and then i can print out whatever i wanted to read elsewhere.

That ebooks site has a contact page, have you tried writing to them about it? I looked all over the site for a FAQ or a help or anything else and there doesn't seem to be anything. Pretty lame!
