Elder in my old hall is DFed wow!

i ran into an old friend spontaneously over the weekend.

(one of the few jws i actually considered a friend back in the day).

we were briefly catching up and she mentioned an elder in my old hall is now dfed.

the definition of fear in the dictionary is " a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence of imminence of danger.

" another dictionary i have states the definition as , " an unpleasant emotion caused by exposure to danger, expectation of pain, etc.

a state of alarm .

Self -Employed or Otherwise Gainfully Employed - Gas Prices Eating You Up?

last night at the gas pump i had a verbal , emotional outburst , swearing to no one in particular - just the gas pump , until i saw 2 guys at the island down from me - so i figured i'd let it rip !

frustration over these insanely rising gas prices finally took it's toll on even -keeled mr. flipper !

i started my rant , wanting these guys feedback , " what is it with these #ucking gas prices ?

Flip,

I get 20 cents a mile on company business for gas, and it helps, but doesn't cover it @ $65 a tank-full.

I'm meeting with the elders...

i was so adament with my husband about not meeting with them./ i said "no" under no uncertain terms that i did not want to have this meeting.

so, they have been hounding us for days about it, repeatedly asking.. finally, my husband and the elder both come up to me asking about it.

so i just said to elder that the last meeting was discouraging and i don't want to be put through that again.

Just don't say anything incriminating, be vague and a lot of "I don't knows." The only exception is if they ask a loyalty question about the Organization - they will ask that if they are wanting to JC you. Tell them "of course" to that question if you still want to fade.
