  Gutted about the Kingdom Ministry

  its 2:15 am and i have to go to bed altho im not tired!

  i was so upset by that kingdom ministry about how to treat df ones.

  ill log off and when i sign back in in the morning, i hope to see 3546154263541658468154 posts on this making me smile and laugh cos im gonna need it!.

  Does the paper in your kitty litter box need changing?

  The Kindom Ministry is only paper with black ink on it. Just because they are putting this information out on disfellowshipping does not mean it shall be followed.

  I showed this information to my wife whose mother is a Jehovah's Witnesses. My wife asked her mother on the phone, whether this article would have influence on their relationship as my wife never was disfellowhipped but she married a disfellowshipped person. She never ever wrote a DA letter either.

  The answer she got back after the mother had seen the KM was that since she never disassociated herself, then it was alright for them to communicate with each other. If my mother-in -law followed the information she would also lose a relationship with her granddaughter and grand children whom she adores.

  My belief is that the WT is going to have a very hard time enforcing these harsh rules. It will back fire on them.

  i really need your feedback .

  i am really down on the dumps regarding being shunned and torn apart about da (i haven't yet).

  a week ago i wrote to dr. phil on oprah and wrote briefly about jw practices on shunning.

  I just read your profile. You have what it takes. You have already taken the initiative to write to the show, you ask us for advice and much good advice has been given.

  Tell them where you are at. If you're nervous, say that you are nervous, if you need someone with you on the show for moral support then tell them. Let them take the lead as to what they want to present or not. If you are apprehensive about the consequences of being on the show then inform them. Tell them what the reactions of your friends and families in the JWs will mean for you. Your life is real drama, that is what they know viewers are interested in. Tell them your thoughts, your feelings, your desires for yourself, your children and your husband.

  You can do it, with the help of the universe and all the people on this forum and elsewhere who will lovingly back you up.

  i know how much you enjoy nature, so i took a pic of our garden on the day before the bbq.

  it's not a particularly large garden so it doesn't take that much work to maintain it.

  most of the flowers are petunias, niccotania and antihhrynnums, although we can get semi-tropical stuff to grow well in this part of the uk..

  I enjoyed scrolling through your garden. It doesn't look so small to me, it is two and a half screen widths.

  Thank goodness it is not on the top of a hill, then I would have to scroll up and down and that is tiring.

  Beautiful, garden, well kept, but where is the wild woolley unkempt natural area that is supposed to be in English gardens?

  hello.. ken little is the canadian branch overseer.

  i have met him once (across the lunch table at a circuit assembly).

  my immediate reaction was that he is a complete company man, and fulfills his name perfectly.. i should like to know a little (har har) more about him, his background, business dealings, watchtower career, personality.

  Thirty years ago, when I was in, I had great respect for Ken Little. I considered him down to earth, unpretentious and genuine. He may have changed since then, and of course he would follow Brooklyn's directives to the letter or he would not be where he is. I still respect the man.

  One reliable account I can give you is about his request for accommodations during a French District assembly in Montreal around 1970. He asked the rooming department that he be assigned to a French family to stay in their home. He could have gone to a hotel, but preferred humbler surroundings.

  Guess where rooming assigned him. He was assigned to a former congregation servant's home, The reason he was a former congregation servant is that a number of years earlier he had been sleeping around with several sisters in his congregation all at the same time. Each one thought that she was the only one. When one found out she was not the only one, she squealed, loud and clear. He repented and took his demotion and was always considered in good standing after that, but his privileges were reduced.

  Now maybe you will find my comment here, blasphemous, but it needs to be asked.

  Are Jehovah's Witnesses still His witnesses if they are faithful or not faithful?

  "It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed,
  And there was no strange god among you;

  And there is none who can deliver out of My hand;
  I act and who can reverse it?"

  Throughout the scriptures many warnings are given the Israelites informing them what the consequences would be if they turned away from Jehovah. Read Deuteronomy chap 28 and see what calamities would happen to them if they left the law.

  When the Israelites abandonned the Law, they endured the consequences, no other god could tell them they would prosper if they left the law of Jah.

  So whether they were faithful or not they still were evidence that He was the only true God.

  Today this people that call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses believe that because they have this name, no calamity can come upon them. In His hands they could become an honorable vessel or a dishonourable vessel. Either way they will still prove He is right.

  Powerful post!

  Has the abuse problem within the Watchtower been kept secret even from the writing department. Does the service department, if that is where abuse files and correspondence is kept, keep the lid on the abuse statistics within their own organization?

  How can anyone, in good conscience, write about the problems in other organizations, when they are floating on a raft on the cesspool of their own pedophilia evil.

  Another question that needs asking. Does the WT carry insurance to cover the congregations and their own liability? If so, do not the insurance companies need to be made aware of the extent of pedophilia in the org. Maybe it's time for them to get an increase in rates.
