Tonight's top story: C. B. Mitchell is still dead. We'll advise you of any updates to his condition as we receive them.

I knew a Bill Poole in the Fort Valley, GA congregation many years ago. He passed away in the early 80's. I know he had family up around Atlanta.

i've been collecting the complete set of episodes and was watching one the other day and wanted to ask the folks here from the uk a question about it.. it was "royal episode 13".
the sketch at the end was john cleese going to the undertaker's (graham chapman) with his dead mother and graham chapman looks in the bag and says "fred, we've got an eater here, get the oven on".
the audience starts yelling and rushes the set and the program ends.

Just wondering.

"what's your theory on the other planets in the throne of heavens?
we can only guess, cause no man is able to understand the truth about the fathers wonderful creation"
I have to believe there are other planets and life somewhere out there. To me it's impossible for there not to be.
Why is it though that they always show up over trailer parks and farms instead of just landing on Pennsylvania Ave. and knocking on the door at #1600? I really hope that they aren't gravitating to familiar landmarks!
Mike.
i am completely overwhelmed by the caring that has gone on here in my situation.
both were babtized jws.
for over 30 years.
Movello I'm sorry for your loss.
What counts is your love for your family and theirs for you. Not what the JW's thought or said.
From what you said, it sounds like you maybe should speak to a therapist. This board is a fine place to talk about how we feel but no substitute for a trained professional.

you can now watch the entire airing of last sunday's production, which dealt with the hunt for bin laden.
I want to watch it but need a little help figuring out the time difference. What time will it be on in the U.S. at Eastern Daylight Savings Time?
Oh and Safe4kids, I didn't think that lady talked funny. Maybe that's just me though. I love listening to a woman with a British accent.

of 3 that straightaway spring to mind:.
dg (m) 64 e (f) 27. bm (m) 49 d (f) 18. pl (m) 43 e (f) 18.
2 of the above were also 'arranged' marriages, do you know of any other instances of extremes in jw marriage age ranges?
The only age-difference marriage I'm familiar with was a brother in our hall who married a sister in a neighboring hall when he was 30 or 31 and she was 18. She was a good friend of our family and we went to her high school graduation. So did Preston. We thought nothing of it at the time, but he had already been scoping her out. They [apparently] "fooled around" and he got private reproof and lost his position as ministerial servant.
There was a little talk about the age thing, but I think everyone pretty much let it slide with those two since he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Personally I have nothing against a relationship or a marriage with a noticeable age difference provided the two really love each other. Or if both are in it just for the sex and that is understood by both. Those little 18-year-old Britney Spears wanna-be's are nice to look at but usually lousy in the sack. Give me a woman in her 30's or 40's any day. All you young bucks reading this, take my advice. date a woman in her 30's or 40's for a while. You'll learn a lot, have a blast, and thank me in the morning.
