  I hate having JW parents.

  i'll try to make this long story short.. in october ... about 3 days before i left for a trip my mother decided to have my cell phone cut off.

  i've had my bill in my mom's name since i was 16 and have always paid it since i was old enough to work.

  but .. out of pure spite, she cut off my phone.

  Speaking from experience, I say do your wedding they way you want. Have the ceremony wherever you want. We decided to have our wedding outside so my mom and sister didn't have to step inside a church. Then at the last minute the told me they were not coming. They said by coming to the wedding they would be approving of me marrying a "worldly" person. Of course it rained and we had to scramble to move everything to a church. A couple of friends of mine couldn't find the new location and missed the ceremony.

  Make your wedding everything you want it to be. Don't let your family dictate what yourwedding will be like.

  Why is the Watchtower Society so cruel to teens?

  my mom just informed me that a 17 year old has been disfellowshipped at her hall.at least 7 others have been kicked out within the last 5 years.the publisher count is only 56 .why do they let the teens get baptized so young?

  i was 14 and only got baptized because of pressure and the end was coming.if you weren't baptized you would be destroyed.. why don't they wait until everyone is at leat 21?

  all these teens haven't come back and you won't ever see them unless they return.i haven't seen my cousin in over 2 years.no one went to his wedding,isn't invited to any family functions and is to be avoided at all costs.. the watchtower society should be ashamed that they act that way and the parents let them get away with it..

  My childhood wasn't as bad as some of yours. My mother was pretty cool and let me have "worldly" friends and hang out with them. However, I wasn't allowed to do the normal things like play sports in school, learn martial arts, celebrate anything with the kids at school. You know, the whole "I'm a JW" crap. I still resent not being able to play sports or go to college.

  So I've decided to do something about it. I'm going to be the best parent a kid could ever ask for. I will encourage them to play whatever sports they like. Take them to all the parties and dances. Help them get into a great college and have a great career. I'm going to make sure they have a wonderful childhood and a wonderful life.

  On a side note: I started Karate last year and have found out that I am very good at it. I absolutely love it. It's one of the best things I've ever done. It's very relaxing and great exercise and great for build self-confidence and self-worth. I highly recommend it.

  My Wedding

  so, my mom's trailer flooded last week and her congregation lifted not a finger to assist.

  she was given 30 minutes to evac.

  she made it out with her clothes on her back and her cats.

  Yeah, same thing here. We even planned to have our wedding outdoors so my mom and sister wouldn't have to step foot in a church. My mom was even excited about buying a new dress for the occasion. Well, I guess my holier than thou sister got to her and the next thing I know I get a phone call telling me the neither of them are coming to my wedding. I was pretty upset and a little embarassed. All of my wife's family was there, but only my two brothers attended.

  What really takes the cake is about a year later my sister gets married to a "brother" that I was never even introduced to and she just couldn't understand why I never came to her wedding. I mean she didn't even send a card or anything to me and then is upset that I didn't attend her wedding. Oh well, I got the last laugh. A year after they were married they got separated becuase this wonderful "brother" is on drugs and watching porn. Now they are divorced. As for my wife and I, we will be married 7 years this May and are doing great.

  they have transformed their key belief into a cartoon type kiddies scene.

  i just scored a pair of ticket to a josh groban concert in nc this spring.

  she is a major fan of this guy and i have to admit the dude can sing.

  we went to one of his concert a couple of year ago and it was awesome.

We went to one of his concert a couple of year ago and it was awesome. It's the only concert I've been too where the performer actually sounds better in concert than on the album.

  There's no better feeling than making your wife happy!!!

  BTW: The name of his new album is kind of ironic don't ya think?

  The book of Revelation, the word of God, or one hell of a drug trip?

  what more confusing and off the wall book in the bible, can there be, then the book of revelation.

  it has all sort of odd things being talked about, all sorts of weird events that seem to only be connected when you twist the mind to the maximum of your imagination.

  so many people, in religions, have tried to explain this off the wall book and yet refuse to face the fact that it might just be complete imagination of nonsense.

  I just watched a program on this and they suggest that John was writing in code to the Christians. Since it was illegal to write anything bad about the Roman goverment at the time.

  For example: When he talked about 666 he was probably talking about emperor NERO. Since every Hebrew letter has a numeric counterpart and when you match 666 with Hebrew letter it spells out NERO. Also the beast with 7 head could refer to Rome since it sat on 7 hills.

  i remember when they wouldn't give me the kingdom ministry because i wasn't an approved associate/publisher/baptised.

  i started thinking god everybody knows that i am not good enough for jehovah.

  if i had of only known then what i know now, i wouldn't have fell for it.

  I remember being at a book study and not answering that night. I was just a young kid, maybe 10 or 11. I wasn't feeling good or something. Well at the end of the book study the conductor tells everyone that we had 99% participation tonight. Obviously making it known to everyone that I didn't comment.

  i have just received the transcript of the disfellowship appeal meeting from a person i know from a recording he took.

  it is quite typical in the condescension of the elders.

  unfortunately he did not record the initial meeting.

  	Question: "Does the Bible instruct us to forgive and forget?" Answer: The phrase "forgive and forget" is not found in the Bible. However, there are numerous scriptures commanding us to "forgive" one another (Matthew 6:14; Ephesians 4:32). A Christian who does not forgive can reap bitterness and the loss of eternal rewards (Hebrews 12:14-15; 2 John 1:8). Forgiveness is a decision of the will. Since God commands us to forgive, we must make a conscious choice to forgive. This frees the forgiving one from the past. The "offender" may not desire forgiveness and may not change (Matthew 5:44). Ideally the offender will seek reconciliation, but if not, the one wronged should still make known their decision to forgive. In some senses, it is impossible to truly forget sins that have been committed against us. We cannot selectively "delete" events from our memory. The Bible states that God does not "remember" our wickedness (Hebrews 8:12). God is all-knowing. God knows that occurred. However, having forgiven us, He treats us as if the sin had not occurred. God does not hold our sins against us. In that sense we must "forgive and forget." If we forgive someone, we must act as if that sin had never occurred. We remember the sin, but we live as if we did not remember it. Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
