  Update on Yellow Belt test...

  if you read my latest post you know i went for my yellow belt test in karate this past weekend.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/89553/1.ashx.

  i'm happy to say that i passed with flying colors.

  i even recieved high marks on my fighting ability.

  I finally did it...

  i finally went and did something i've always wanted to do growing up as a witness.

  i joined a karate class.. i go for my yellow belt test this weekend.

  my wife tried to get me this morning.

  she called on her way home from work (registered nurse) and told me she got real sick during the night and had to go to the emergency room.

  when i ask what was wrong she said she was pregant.

  Have you ever wondered....

  with all the attention on terrorism in the world today and with the goverment cracking down on some anti-goverment groups.

  will the witnesses be next on the list of groups to be watched by the goverment?

  maybe even taking action against them.

  JW's say they don't have a clergy class, whay do you think?..

  i remember back 8 years ago when i left the organization the elders were being called "jehovah's special appointed ones".

  i thought to myself that this was starting to become a clergy class.

  i mean if that doesn't set you about the rest of the flock, i don't know what does.

  i sent an email to my brother about a new truck i bought and got a reply about how the end of this system is so close and i should really return to jehovah.

  as far as going back to the meetings, no thanks.

  i've had my fill of having my life ran by a religion.

  What if God was a parent today?...

  if your child was on the street corner and a drug dealer approached them and offered them some drugs and you saw all of this happening in front of you.

  would you run and stop the drug dealer to protect your child or let you child make their own decision?

  well i think most of us would answer that we would probably beat the crap out of the drug dealer to protect our child.. why then did god let eve talk to satan (drug dealer) and eat of the forbidden fruit (drugs)?

  What is "Pagan" anyways?...

  witnesses love to use the word "pagan", but i think few really even know what the word means.

  i think most think of the word pagan as referring to some satan worshiping cult or other strange religion.

  they alway say they don't celebrate the holidays because of it pagan origins.

  Is your family close??...

  i was talking to a good friend of mine the other night on the phone and i was telling him about my wife wondering why my family isn't very close.

  when we started thinking about it we both decided it was because we grew up jw's.

  i would love to be closer to my family, but it just seems we have nothing to talk about.
