For those baptized as a JW/minor, how did you feel on your baptism day?
by Gopher ini was petrified that day.
i felt nervous and slightly sick that morning, so i couldn't even eat breakfast.. leading up to that baptism day ( i was only 16 ), i didn't want to tell anyone about it.
maybe because i came from a cold-hearted congregation where the other kids my age didn't like me (i was too serious), i didn't want anyone else to know.. i felt relief after the dunking was finally over.

I was 12 years old. I did it because my cousins and friends were. Also my father about 3 times a week (usually coinciding with our studying) would tell us that we would die at armageddon if we weren't baptized. He would say that I would never see my 18th birthday in this system, the end was so close.
So baptized I was!! It was wet, i was nervous, i felt nothing besides worrying about what people were thinking of my chubby little 12 yr. old body.
I recieved a few presents afterwards and remember someone taking issue with gift giving at baptisms, so i was told not to show anyone my presents as I could stumble someone (the persons point was that this was to be expected of me, why make a big deal out of it).
I remember wondering why everthing had to be so hard.

A Ghost from the past
by The wanderer in<!-- .style1 { font-family: garamond; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; } .style2 { font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; } .style3 {color: #c5927f} --> a ghost from the past .
an ugly fight between two friends can damage a friendly relationship.
almost irreparably.

Wanderer,
I have to say that I don't believe that a witness would be trying to reconcile a friendship without the motive of trying to get you back. Maybe he's on his way out and is looking for support. If he isn't I would be very careful.

I am so sorry, your story is so heart wrenching. It seems as if the org. breeds alcoholics and pedophiles. It does nothing to protect children, treats them as second class citizens. I am glad you are out and can start surrounding yourself with healthy people, Liz

My Haunted Office
by Warlock inthe following account is 100% true and all of the paranormal activity was experienced firsthand by me.. i work in a converted garage.
there is a side door, with a window, and a back door with a window that leads to a swimming pool.
both doors have cloth canopies to keep out some of the sunlight.

Hi Warlock,
I believe you.i just started experiencing things of that nature about a year ago in a different house.
After months of odd activity, i mentioned it to my landlord in a very offhand way, asking if others had reported anything about the house. She told me one other person had, a girl my age with the same name. She freaked and moved out, I got
a medium in and help release what was in there. The activity stopped afterwards. By the way My BF is/was/is the
biggest sceptic about this stuff and experienced it all with me and going through ALL of the "logical"explanatons came to the same conclusion. good luck with that!

Hi, So sorry. Its impossible to reason with them, I was also told by my brother/sister/ parents that I left them and because of me leaving i caused so much stress in the family. THIS IS THEIR CHOICE!!!! But they are so brainwashed, I'm sorry again. Liz
