  Free Literature at the Kingdom Hall

  i was thinking for all you guys who go the kingdom hall even though you know it's not the truth,, in order to keep from loosing all your friends and family,, why not take advantage of the wt free literature at your kh?

  i mean the wt is forcing you to go to meetings with the threat of being outcasted from your family why not put a little dent in their finances but getting all the free literature you can and not contibuting anything for it.

  after all the wt is offering it free of charge.

  How did you feel when you learned it was all a lie?

  bit of background.

  i grew up as a jw i left the church when i was 14 because a ministerial servant who was conducting a one on one baptism study with me said that i couldn't ballance my dreams of being a professional singer with the so called "truth".

  i stopped the study and told my mom i no longer wanted to be a witness.

  Everything that all said and of course a LOOOOOOOOOOOT OF ANGER . But this post is what I really feel now:

  I "knew" many things weren't "right". But I stuffed those things in the back of my mind with the hope that I'd "get it" later. I "got it", alright! I didn't like JWS being called a "cult". Now I realize, it's simply what they are. I am relieved and happy to be out.

  Of course some days I feel angry again, because I have to be hypocrite with family and friends.

  Can YOU Determine A "Real Apostate" From A "Fake Apostate"?

  so often , on this board, we see imposters claiming to be interested in learning the truth about the "truth".

  they may seem to genuinely want to know things and they might ask thought-provoking questions.....so how do you know if the person you're dealing with is the real deal or not??

  any tips to help us know who those "fake apostates" are??

  they watch to see who is contribuitng and who is not.

  I don't have that problem. My brother is in Bethel, so I ask him for literature. He thinks I donate in the KH and they think that I give $$$ to my brother.

  if you are not feeling well, have a headache, a backache, whatever but you would go to work but didn't go to a meeting or in "field service"---then you "sinned" against jehovah.....any others?
