i was asking because look at all the problems religion are causing :september 11,middle east crisis,waco disaster,clashes in ireland,paedophiles priests,suicide bombings,papal system etc.but think if masses of people protested it my not ban religion completely,but it could make a start to banning it.but the trouble again is that a lot of people want religion even if it is full of @*~t,yeh and why is it that people know theres problems in there religion but wont take a stand,why are religious people are such cowards to the truth.saying that though if i managed to get say jws banned from preaching i would be fulfilling bible prophecy mmm how cool lol

What's the "need" of this gathe...

even posting not so often, but with pleasure and feed-back as well, i do wonder why former-jw and i as well with my own subjects - have this "need" to gather and to discuss subjects related to wt.

some seams to use close to hours each days in front of the computer.

i don't see many other web pages of former-catholics or former members of other religions (not of my knowledge - i can be wrong).

I don't see many other WEB pages of former-Catholics or former members of other religions (Not of my knowledge - I can be wrong). Why not to forget the world of WT and to continue living the life? Life isnt that bad at all, so why dont live the rest of it looking forward - not back.

So why are being a former-JW so special compare to be a former ex-other religion? I do know the need of bringing out all the bad and that has its own purpose for a time, but not for good.

There were at time of facing the truth of the Truth. Many live with that knowledge and still didnt do anything about it for at time. What did go though your head and made you go on like nothing?

A few days ago – now on “Adult and Disagreements” - I post “Shame on you and NBC/Dateline”. I lot of response was done and only a few got the point and the real messaged. Well come on – was it that difficult to get and read the point? I didn’t think so and still don’t. A lot of you were just reacting like angry animal without a brain to use. Even some bitterness is a part of many ex-JW we still should be able to think as human and react another way than teach by the Borg.

Some said latter it wasn’t funny, even some realise it was “black talk” they still were angry and unable to admit they misread the post and unable to realise it wasn’t a post to get a fool of everyone.

The post was NOT a funny one. It was a SAD one. It explain the typical reaction of at long time loyal DUB. Read it one more time and if you don’t get the point - do it one more time or more until you get it for real.

Sorry if some didn’t get the point. It was a “black talk” as we say. It wasn’t to be funny about the “children molested”, but a way to open up the JW mind and take a look at what’s inside. Try to read it one more time.

So if you just read the written words or took is as a joke you don’t get the message behind. I really do think that the post illustrate the normal JW reaction we see and the argumentation inside the brain of a long time loyal JW. Most JW can’t see the problem because of a mental blindness. Every time something really wrong is on air about the JW they simply are unable to see and consider the matters. Everything is about don’t ask, don’t talk and don’t even think something are wrong about the “wonderful” organisation.

Sorry if some thought is was either my opinion or a joke about this serious matter. I was trying to explain the typical JW kind of thinking. Sometimes you have to read between the lines to get the message. Not to be funny but to really see what’s behind.
