  Need help - Movies that kids like

  hi all, i have my kids coming over with friends, age range 4-9, but as if that isnt enough i need to think of some movies (films) that i could give them to watch.

  i have the new harry potter, and wallace and gromit rabbit, plus charlie and the choco factory - any other suggestions!??!?!

  mmm... my niece (age 7) loves Spy Kids, James and the Giant Peach, Mathilda...my 9 year old nephew loves The Sandlot...but there are some bad words in it and it's about American baseball.

  it's not the first time i've watched it.not even the second or third time.

  Lady Lee-- Color Purple does it for me too. The part that always gets me (besides the ending) is when Shug gives Celie all the letters from her sister.
  
  Here's afew others I can think of--
  Shawshank Redemption- The ending always gets me.
  Far Away, So Close!- Again the ending.
  Europa, Europa
  Children of Heaven- It's kind of predictable but still gets me.
  Bus 174- documentary
  Murder On a Sunday Morning- documentary (when the mother testifies)

  I'm going to vote YES. I know that even if he admits he doesn't agree with the WTS he'll still defend it's beliefs...BUT he's here on JWD constantly and he wouldn't be if he knew the beliefs were right.

  i came across this story and it had to do with people who yell, scream and bitch about everything in life, and they can't and don't 'do' anything about it.

  this fisherman (dave)picked up a newly fisherman (paul)in his community one early morning, and on route to their destination, which was some distance, paul noticed a shoe box on the front seat.

  he also heard lots of noises in the shoe box.

  But that's you. Some of us have experienced other things. BUT you can't treat every person you run into as a potential competitor. I'm sure you see golf the same way as one of my professors saw baseball--a way to look at life. There are different analogies and ways to look at it though and different ways to learn and live it.
  
  I'm glad you had a good experience with older people and sports...but that's you.

  golf-- I think you're making too much of age. I'm smarter than my mom (and several other older people I know) ...and that's not out of spite or young opinion. Some just seem to not learn lessons or take in knowledge all that well.
  
  sports are game, not life. People go about life in different ways. Most of the time there's no right or wrong way.
  
  Just my opinion.

  anyone else excited?

  i'm not excited about everything...there was a family fight at thanksgiving that hasn't been totally resolved yet.
