  as an english speaking person, with an english accent, living in england.

  why were we subjected every year to the conventions drama with an american voice over.. could they not have had tapes with an english accent?.

  i have nothing against the american accent, some are very pleasent .

  well, jehovah was directing the organization out of brooklyn...what other kind of accent do you expect? Anyway, if an american accent is good for jesus, it should be good enough for everyone else.

  Were You Delighted When An Elder/M.S./Pioneer Got Into Trouble W/Elders???

  jws are a self-righteous bunch!-------- do you remember when an elder or so-called "mature one" would get into some trouble and either get "disciplined" or "deleted" and the reaction in the hall?

  some used to gloat over a big-shot getting into trouble with the elders or circuit overseer.

  or the gossip mill would just be buzzing over seeing someone going into the "backroom" with 2 or 3 elders.....do you remember those days???

  I don't remember any elders or "mature ones" getting DF'd. The people that stick in my mind as being DF'd or taken in the back and given a talking to were all good people that I never thought deserved it.

  hey, how come you're posting this under the bible study section? Just wondering... If you have a digital video camera and a firewire(macintosh) or a USB hook-up (pc-provided you have a video capture card already installed) you might be able to use it as a web camera.

  hi guys.

  just installed messenger 6.2. but now, everytime i boot up computer it automatically pops up and asks me to sign in.

  i want it to stay quiet until i want to use it.

  there should be something you can un-check--if you go to preferences under MSN Messenger (at the tool bar) and then click "general"-there should be a section that says "run this program when computer starts"

  Who are these people?

  as i was walking home today (about 7pm) i passed in front of madison square garden.

  there, a little boy, about 7-8 years old, hands me some literature.

  the literature is eerily similar to a watchtower, but i knew that the people handing them out were not jws.

Have you been reading Gore Vidal lately?BTW, I get migraines and sometimes I'll remember a glimpse of something or a thought like "I understand it all now" but after the migrain is gone I don't have a clue....migraines caused by brain tumors?--did I mention I'm a hypochondriac too?
