When I was growing up it was forbidden to see Indiana Jones and the temple of doom because of the priest cutting the guys heart out! The circuit overseer even mentioned it from the platform lol.

i absolutely detested the watchtower study.
never did an hour go by so slow.
there would the 20 or so paragraphs that had to read and answered, and i would watch the clock.
I by far hated Thursday night the worst. Two stinkin' hours that you had to endure after a long day at school or work, and God forbid I had a talk on the school, this would throw me into apoplexy from the time I was handed the slip until I had to get up on stage.
Except for written review night. That Thursday night was ok, no one talked and you didn't have to listen to any drivel for a half an hour! An excellent time to doodle :)

recently on another location online, someone told me my thoughts sound like something from a watchtower or awake.
they said, i come off in the same manner and use illustrations to speak.
it was also mentioned that i come off as an elder at times, and sound very authoritarian in my manner.
Yep,
Have my sweetheart of a husband! Never would have known him otherwise. The honor of being able to share this lifetime with such a beautiful spirit makes all the crap we went through as youths worth it (we're both out now thank GAWD!)
Ok, I'll stop being sappy now before I make y'all ill LOL

posting on wtlies thread i got to thinking about the shows i watched as a kid.
there were a couple that scared the &*^% out of me.
the old twilight zone where the little demon guy was on the airplane wing was really scary.
When I was about 10 or so I saw this movie called "THE SCREAMING SKULL" That damn movie scared the living b'jesus outta me lol.
now that you know about the truth of the blood doctrine, would you feel, even a little bit uncomfortable agreeing to take a blood transfusion?
btw, my mother asked me if i would still honor her wishes for refusal of blood.
i told her that even though my view has changed, i would respect her decision, even if i felt that it was wrong.
The religious factor wouldn't make me feel uncomfortable now, but worrying about blood borne diseases might make me a tad on the nervous side. This would not prevent me from taking a transfusion though if it was a last resort.

my grandson's wife is staying at my daughters with her newborn son(my great grandson).
they have a room in the basement.
last night she said something was holding her in the bed and wouldn't let her go to her new baby.
Wow Ken!
What has your daughter seen? Sounds kinda spooky!!
BTW Was great seeing you today :) We have decided for the next meetup we'll all get together for that BBQ at my place. Sound good? Had such a great time today. It's too bad you had to leave before dinner, the conversation was fantastic. What a great bunch of folks!!
Take care and talk soon

i guess attending a perormance of the messiah was out, as far as dubs were concerned - does anyone know?
Nope. My sister in law sang in it in the school choir and my in laws are deep in da kingdom of da dubs
yes brothers and sister the focus over the next few months is how to maintain good family life.
but not only that the watchtower will also tell you why there has been such an increase in single mothers in the last few years!
as you know in the truth this does not exist as the perfect loving families can only be jehovahs witnesses.
Aw, That just warms the cockles of my frickin' heart. Not. Hyprocrites.
one of the few unfounded (i think) accusations that have been thrown at me by certain people is that i have caused 'untold damage' to the silentambs cause.. i don't know quite what this is supposed to mean or what i'm suppoed to have done or whether it is anything more than just 'mud' flung by people who find it easier to criticise rather than actually do anything.. over the last year (is it?
) i've been happy to promote the silentlambs cause and have hosted links to bills site and vidoes / sound files of tv programmes, radio reports, photo's of the march etc... as well as providing a place for people to meet and arrange things.
i hope it has been useful and helpful to at least some people.. if i have inadventantly held things up in some way then i unreservedly and wholeheartedly apologise.. all i can say is, i do my best and may not always get things right.
I think you are doing a great service Simon! Especially the media section. Because of this I am able to see things I never would have access to otherwise.
Sword of Jah: In regards to Bill tossing the lamb at the WT rep: Jesus also showed righteous anger to the money changers in the temple. He was so ticked off he went and flipped their tables over! I would definately call the lamb toss a case of rightoues indignation, and deep, deep frustration at the pharisees in their ivory tower thumbing their nose at the law and those who have suffered so very much at the hands of those who the WT continues to shield.
