Thanks WingCommander! I knew I was right. What's so strange to me is my rommate is 52 years old and has been studying with the JW's for 20 years or more (only been baptized about 2 years). Even though she is 52, she is in her own fantasy world when it comes to JW's. I really want some WT quotes on this...to prove to her this is actually what the JW's believe.

She said that's not true...they don't believe that. I said that if a JW gets disfellowshipped and has a 6 month old baby and armegeddon happens, Jehovah is going to destroy both of them. She said that was FALSE religion and not true....that I'm being fed a lot of bullS*it on this board. Can any of you good folks point me to watchtower articles that talk about this? I think I'm right and that she doesn't even know what her own religion teaches. I really need some help on this one. I want to print this stuff directly from the Watchtower's CD. Thanks in advance.

What was your first car?
by nicolaou inmine was an old fiat 127, i bought it 1983 and it was at least fifteen years old then!
the seats were vinyl and there were no rear seatbelts so i could send my girlfriend and her sister flying with each bend in the road!
it wouldn't go above 55mph and was rattling like rollercoaster when it finally got there.. the rear window fell out and it finally croaked in puff of blue/black smoke.

My hometown has about 7,000 people. The town I work in has about 3,000 people. I love small towns....I don't like the traffic in large cities.

Paul and Ronna Therrell serve in the music ministry of the First United Methodist Church in Opp. They say the pastor's son sexually assaulted their autistic daughter a year ago. At the time of the alleged incident the girl was 12 and the boy was 14.
The Therrells say they did not go to the police because they expected the church to deal with the matter internally. Ronna Therrell says, "I was hoping someone would contact me and ask me if what we needed, tell me they were sorry this happened to my daughter. And ask if we needed to be moved to another church."
In response, Church District Superintendent Frederick Outlaw says quote, "We were told that the problem was being worked out between the two families and that no official complaint was even filed with the church.
The parents filed a criminal complaint last week and just Wednesday the Covington County District Attorney charged the pastor's son with attempted rape.
