Has anyone ever stopped to consider that the Borg could very well have its own Men In Black? A special group of individuals whose "spirituality" is virtually impervious to apostate arguments? Functioning under a specially sanctioned department as a "Joshua/Caleb" class who are charged with the task of "spying out the land" and engaging in anti-apostate guerilla tactics on various web sites? Just a thought.

THE MOTIVES OF GOOD JWS WHO POST ON THIS SITE
by steve2 inwhile i think it's perfectly okay, i do wonder what motivates jws to post here and especially to also express views critical of ex-jws.
is it the freudian notion of "projection": the jw who denounces something in others that he or she is also guilty of?
hence, if a jw clearly denounces an apostate's faults, it must mean the jw is really against apostasy when it might be something he or she struggles with.

This ain't sKally, but what the hay. Yes, Walter Reyes is the fake name initially used by Robert King to register as the domain owner. "Rey" is Spanish for "king". The address is actually an old mail drop address which is no longer being used in Toronto. The names of WBTS people, J.R. Brown and Mark Ruge, are used as contacts. The phone numbers are actually the WBTS phone numbers in Canada. It appears to have been quite a ruse by Mr. King. As I've recently stated, there is more to this fellow than meets the eye.

why bother to prove something which is all based on myth and tales anyway?
My sentiments exactly. I believe there is more than meets the eye with Robert King and the e-watchman site. Some of you know what I mean.

Watchtower Gives Up Explaining 607 BCE Date!
by VM44 inthis is a very important observation, that the watchtower has not tried to explain in print why 607 bce is the year for the destruction of jerusalem for the last 17 years!!!.
all that the watchtower has done over most of the last two decades is to repeat over and over the year "607bce" in its publications as if it is an unquestioned fact!.
the last time an explaination for the year was attempted by the watchtower was in 1988 when the "insight" volumes were published, but since then, no explaination for the validity of the year has appeared in print.. this must mean something, but what?

The Borg's own date for Nebuchadnezzar's death of 582 BCE (Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy! book, Chapter 7, pg. 99) still leaves 'em 20 years short if you add the regnal years of Nebuchadnezzar's successors (adds up to 23 yrs.). But wasn't that the plan? To "bury" those years by changing Nebuchadnezzar's reign from 605-562 BCE to 624-582 BCE to make 607 "fit"? Don't need rocket science to figure this one out.

That is correct. They were an NGO in association with DPI. As the Directory cover (in which they're listed) states, DIRECTORY OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INFORMATION

I recently received a letter from the WTS regarding an inquiry I made regarding their "association" with the UN as an NGO. Part of their response is as follows: "Of course, as we have explained to others who have inquired about this matter, the criteria for association with the DPI contains some language that we cannot subscribe to, and when we realized this, we immediately withdrew our registration in 2001." (Emphasis mine)
'Nuff said.

Christian answers to the Atheist Bible: Presupposing your beliefs
by Rex inhere is a very insightful article from ken ham....at the end is my own testimony in capsule form.
when the person you talk to on creation insists that you leave the bible out of it, they are really saying the deck should be stacked one way.
(my note: you've heard it this way, "religion does not speak on science at all.

Rex;
If you keep searching for truth, what you will find may surprise you. However, if you're content to accept the status quo, then you'll never see the jack-in-the-box.
