I couldn't afford one either mis, but I just saw an ad for it in a magazine. If it doesn't cook meals, do laundry and pick up dog poop I don't need it. LOL
Have a great 4th of July!

i'm planning on getting one today, they have some in stock at the at&t store near here.
but i wanted to know if anyone has one already and if you can tell me what your experience has been so far- short as it may be.. are there any major cons that outweigh the pro's of getting one?.
i tried to check online if there was any information on any negatives of the iphone but i couldn't find anything.. any input anyone might have would be appreciated.

ya know those days when you know you should have stayed in bed?.
i had to go to the grocery store, as i was walking in i noticed a man and a woman behind me and both were looking at my butt.. it's a nice butt but usually doesnt get much attention.
i resisted the urge to brush the back of my pants off till they were inside and out of sight... i did and didnt feel anything... later on in the store i got that " feeling" that somene was behind me.. turned around and a woman was looking at my butt.
(((Candi))) you are SO SWEET! LOL
Thanks W for posting that pic; I was going to Google an emu butt to post here. LOL

have you ever had enough contempt for someone to consider doing such a thing?
yep... myself, but I'm far past that now because of intervention. Now life is good! Even w/the aches and pains.
To any one suffering out there, please get help. It IS a very selfish act of desperation. Far too many people would miss you - more than you would ever be aware.

hi everyone, i never was baptized but studied for a very long time before i finally got my sanity back and realized that although the individual jws for the most part were good people and doing what they thought was right the org itself was total b.s.
anyway ive been lurking here off and on for a while and figured i would stop being lazy and register.
so hello, i enjoy everyones posts and hope to be around for a while!
Hi Lynne and welcome to the forum!
Colorado is a beautiful state. It's been 53 years since I've been there. As you can see I don't travel much to the West - we go East and South and around the Midwest.
Anyway, visited Estes Park. I remember being attacked by bees! Funny what you remember as a kid.
Again, nice having you here.

in my younger days, i wasn't the guy i am now.. destroyed as a person before i was five, childhood of brutality, teens of violence, settled down some in my twenties and tried to walk in the so-called 'truth' but they would not have it, it is safe to say i was never known as a hard worker or a go-to guy for anything but heavy-hitting or knee breaking.. reading what i've spilled into this forum, you will no doubt know i undertook a reformation of sorts when i finally hit bottom in my thirties, rebuilt from the ground up.
decided what was worth standing for, what was worth attaining to.. so, fast-forward, here we are preparing for a big 4th of july blowout, it's a holiday we do, so we go overboard.
we have an acre on the side of a bluff along the mississippi river, a screen porch looking up the hill at the deer and other wildpests.. we turn the garage into a banquet hall, and the screen porch is just off the garage, so its pretty nice.
You are what we call a HUMAN BEING Dave!
I took a fall getting out of my daughter's pool this past week. I suffer from fibromyalgia and I get so damn tired of being so stiff and hardly able to walk on a lot of occassions. Having others make concessions for me. I use pool therapy to keep the joints limber.
She always helps me out, but was in the house making popcorn for my granddaughter and me. So I'm on the ladder to get down and my knee gave out and I fell and twisted my ankle and knee. Thought I had broke the ankle. I just sat there until the pain was better and then she helped me up.
I can appreciate what you're saying. It is so FRUSTRATING! We have to accept others' kindness Dave and let go of the negative thoughts. Just wanted you to know that I understand.

Edited to say: Have a beautiful fireworks show tonight. That is gorgeous country up there by you on the Mississippi River.

the gas tank has just been refilled, and there is fresh oil.damn it, i have primed it as required, and have pulled and pulled and pulled the stupid string.. why cant the damn thing start with out a guy???
my husband is now asleep and the damn lawn is 5 inches tall.. god help me!!!!!!!!!.
OMG! We are on a roll here. Ooooops! LOL

OMG! After I re read what I wrote it does carry a double entendre, hey? Oh that is good. I think I missed my calling for Comedy Central.
Have a fun weekend BlackSwan! And remember - don't combine alcohol w/fireworks.
Bigdreaux? Sounds very complex.... uh I remember my husband teaching me this too. It's always good to have a mechanic in house. That was nice of you.
I think that Mr. Restrangled just needs to get out there and help his overworked wife and mow the damn grass himself. Oh..it's raining. Well when it dries off .
It's so dry here in Wisconsin we haven't mowed for awhile.
this year, my hubby's b.a.s.s club has been invited to be in the parade out by the harbor and going all through the town of oswego, (proudly known as the port city and the gateway to the st lawrence seaway) since i cannot climb up onto the decorated boats that will be displayed....they have invited me (little old me) to ride in one of the trucks that will be towing the boat that hubby will be in.. i know this isn't the most exciting event that most of you will be doing this weekend....but for an old lady that hasn't been allowed to see a july 4th parade for 30 years...it is a bit out of the "ordinary" in my list of things to do, lol!
i am looking forward to just "doing stuff" that ordinary people do in the community.
small as it may seem, it is a huge thing to have the freedom to do so!.
(((Annie))) That is so cool!! How nice of them to let you up there!!
It couldn't have happened to a nice person. Enjoy the occassion and report back! LOL just kidding....
Love with a big hug for you, Juni
well i have been there and am back.. this has got to be the most "pleasing" wake that i have ever attended.
it was performed and organized by the watchtower organization with the precisness of an organized military operation.
day one: had our greaving period alone with my son-in-law in his apartment followed with a meeting of her closest friends with a small lunch.. the following day, with a caravan of cars, we went to wallkill where a reception was followed by a graveside burial service and return to patterson to my daughter's apartment for a rest from activities.
I understand why people who cannot cope with the rigors of life and without ambition would assimilate into a life at a facility such as Patterson. However, I am not ready to rush out and join the flock real soon.
So true Phil. I heard there are several cult compounds in that Patterson area. True? Just curious.
Take care of yourself.
Peace, Juni

I nominate this thread for "Best of......." in humor. Restrangled you and all the others have me laughing so hard!
Yes. The push button is the woman's mower. I know what BlackSwan said IS TRUE. You have to pull the rope QUICK AND FAST and snappy-like! If you do it too much you flood the engine. Then you're screwed for awhile and then get out of the mood. LOL
That's why I don't DO lawnmowing anymore. Nope. Never.
I don't have the strength in my arm anymore to give it the proper pull. Yikes! I think I'll stop now.
Just get the hubby out there the next time okay?
Juni
