  After almost 18 years out, I faced my demon.

  hey everyone,

  this past sunday i resolved to face a demon head on.

  that is revisiting a kingdom hall....this after going through years of mental torment.. depression, anxiety and near suicide with years of therapy to heal the wounds of spiritual abuse.

  Hey everyone, This past Sunday I resolved to face a demon head on. That is revisiting a Kingdom Hall....this after going through years of mental torment.. depression, anxiety and near suicide with years of therapy to heal the wounds of spiritual abuse. I had a loving friend along with me for support and the event went very well. No longer was I afraid of them; no more do they have any sort of control over me I came to realize. Actually, as I listened to their "blah blah" public talk and looked around, I felt sorry for them. There are some who are good people and I enjoyed talking once again with them. I've been out for nearly 18 years and no one asked me any questions about my absence. This was a huge thing in my life to face as I didn't really know how I would react to be honest. Now I'm ready to "re connect" with other former friends at the Circuit Assembly. It should be fun. Thank you to my dear friend who made it possible. Life is good. Juni

  Guess I'm a geek ... I didn't even know who was playing today until I read my homepage. Ha! I saw a movie today and shopped for some work pants.

  Witnessing =Dirty Householders/bible studies yuck remember??

  we had a bible study women who collected all the qaurter left bottles of coke and would "recycle" them into one bottle.

  a couple we studied with would give us coffee with lipstick on the cup after removing the cigrette buts and a quick rinse!

  a study gave me a glass of water which was brownish looking....tasted awful.

  god Walter that is a funny fruitcake tale!

  Thing is this: Just because you're financially challenged (political correctness here ) doesn't mean you have to live in filth. There are wealthy and middle class slobs too. From my experiences I can relate to these different situations talked about. I would keep going back.. all for Jehovah.

  Yep. In such situations, I would thank them for their offer of water, but not take it because of the filth. I remember too coming home w/extra critters. Yow!

  Ken, any of us could die in a moment no matter how old we are. Don't waste time dwelling on death thoughts; life is waiting! Hell, you could easily live another 20-30 years. Have a good attitude! Keep rockin! *Edited to add.... not in a rocking chair either Ken.

  once again a heavy on jesus issue, because the memorial is approaching.

  the "fds" also want blondie to calm down because she's always bringing up the lack of jesus being mentioned in the majority of the issues.. the picture of the 125th gilead graduation on page 23 caught my eye thanks to jwd.
