JWs - Prudes or not Prudes?

i was looking at jwconnections out of curiosity thinking i'd find a selection of prudish jw women but was shocked to find that some of these women don't look prudish at all.

they'ed probably give worldly women a run for their money.

maybe things are changing.

As I browsed the profiles, I was surprised that the women would talk about their "DD"'s or include photos of themself in profile to display their wares. There were a few who mentioned how much they enjoyed the "marital due" or how important passion or "sensuality" was to them, among other euphemisms for sex.
Interestingly enough, there were a few 'brothers' who also mentioned the importance of sex (no beating around the bush there) but none of them mentioned their endowments. A few did allude to their material success though.

I had to laugh when I saw "JW" sitting there infront of his webcame in his undies, i thought "yeah right what else has he been flashing on that webcam"

That so sucks !
I used to hate all those stupid stories about possessed Barbie's and other inanimate objects. Theres no scriptural account of inanimate objects becoming possessed and the belief goes way back and has pagan origins (voodoo dollys anyone) Witnesses aren't suppose to spread false religion and I'm surprised the watchtower hasn't clamped down on such stupid stories.

on the watchtower's site right now, there is yet another article that has arbitrarily decided that a pagan-originated, false-religious practice is okey-dokey for christians.

But the point I'd like to draw from it is that embalming has pagan origins, is rooted in false religious practices, yet it is "scripturally" ok. But at the same time, birthday celebrations have all the same origins and are forbidden.
Same with wedding rings !

I know of one (Ex)brother who had an alcoholic SP step dad whose mother used to feed him cakes made of flour and water because she had no money to feed them thanks to his loser step dad who'd spend what little money the family had on booze This wasn't in some poverty stricken African country, this was in a well off area in Kent in the UK Matt

Reminds me of a boating holiday I once went on with a family that were newish to the truth, they were all baptised though, it was 3 fleshly brothers and their sister that I was seeing along with one of the brothers wives all 5 had come into the truth together... anyway, first morning I woke up and everyones Butt Naked and thats the way they stayed the whole time they were on the boat. Thing is no one told me it was gonna be like that and i certainly wasn't gonna run back and tell the elders or anyone else that I'd been trapped all week with a family of naked brothers and sisters, they'd have thought I'd have been up to all sorts and never trusted me again.

Seeing things outta the corner of your eye, feeling "things" these are both symptoms of exposure to infra-sound, when you're brain is exposed to infra-sound it plays funny tricks.
