  This video shows the mindset of many cops ( no, they haven't earned the right to be called 'Officers' ) as if they are saying, " If you don't do exactly what I tell you to do and if you disrepect me in any way, I'll choke you out or I'll spray you in the face with an immobilizing agent ! This cop over reacted and he's the one that should be arrested. Hopefully these kid's parents will sue the cop and the police department.

  A message has to be sent across the country that P.D's everywhere need to hire QUALITY people; people that have a good education, understand the meaning of " common sense ", and are trained to have the internal concept that they - the police officers - are first and foremost on the job to HELP people. When any society has people like this animal in a police uniform " serving and protecting " that society it won't be long before anarchy will raise it's ugly head . . .and that society will only have itself to blame.

  As to whether or not this cop was set up . . .so what if he was? Government, be it national, state or local, spy on its citizens 24/7 . . .sometimes it's justified, sometimes not.Welcome to the REAL world you bonehead cop and city officials.

  in mesquite, texas, sabrina ballantine says she was fired from razzoo's for refusing to sing happy birthday.

  she is a jw, who does not believe in celebrating birthdays and singing this song.. "razzoo's settles lawsuit over religious firing.".

  Another Elder Suicide?

  well it looks like a southern ontario elder just took his own life.

  i cant go into details as we live in a very small world in "the truth" and even the smallest amount of detail on this one could quickly connect this to me, so for now its on the d-low.. it is a relative of a very close friend and he is godsmacked by it.

  he said to me, " we sure seem to be seeing more of this lately arent we?

  If I were an Elder that had gotten to the point of suicide I think I would take a minute to decide just how I got to this point . . .and instead of pointing a gun to my head, I would point it in the direction that would do the most good.

  What's with all this hate toward Johnny Cip ? Jringe01 and others; don't you realize posters have the right to post their feelings about a particular issue, even if you or others hate what he is saying ?

  I didn't see any violations in his postings ( to me what some would construe to be 'hate speech' was nothing more than John's way of describing his views ) Who was the famous statesman of old who said, " I may not agree at all with what you say , sir ; but I will defend to the death your right to say it ".

  Cip seems to be pulling from the cracks the deeply held feelings of all of us . . .he's calling out the Watchtower for what it is, a family destroying organization that has thrived for much too long on the hearts and minds of our loved ones.

  How Do You Handle Compliments?

  today i was followed around, complimented extensively and asked out by a guy at wal-mart (they have good prices on cake),,,i sort of felt like bolting, i felt extremely embarassed (and said as much) even though i was flattered.

  it's nice to be complimented, at the same time i'm all giggly and squirmy,,, like they're telling me that i've got a head shaped like a walnut rather than...whatever.

  do you take compliments well?

  Who masterminded the WT mind control 'routine'? Was it deliberate?

  is the wt policy of five meetings a week, daily text, book study prep, book study, thursday meeting prep, thursday meeting, watchtower pre study, public talk, watchtower study, a deliberate ploy to keep the members under mind control?.

  is this 'routine' carefully thought out and planned by someone or did the watchtower society just evolve this way 'accidentally'?.

  is there a 'mastermind' at work aiming to keep jws tightly under mind control and if so , who is it?.

  i know you are all tired of hearing from me about dogs, but i need help.. our one dobie sleeps where he is suppose to after being tucked in, kissed, and his head laid down on a pillow.

  his older brother after experiencing the same, after about an hour, quietly gets up and sneaks down the hall way, begging to get into bed with us.. here is the problem, the boys are 100 pounds each.

  when the older one sneaks in he promptly lays down between us with his head on the pillows.

  You are so right on girl; when I was living in Chicago I'd see probably 3-400 dogs and cats walkin' around on Michigan Ave. downtown . . ALL skinned alive ! It was unbelievable ! These poor skinned alive pets bleeding all over the place. What was really odd was that nobody paid any attention to what was going on . . those sick MF's.

  I just feel real good inside my heart knowin' that someone like you is out there bringin' the truth to the people!

  I want to wish Happy Father's Day to my Dad who has been gone about10 years now. And I want to wish Happy Father's Day to my 38 yr. old JW son.This is all a bunch of foo-foo because my son won't read this, so in a way it just dosen't matter.

  These holidays are nothing less than wishes that come from our deepest thoughts and feelings about family . . . the family that is no longer there, the family that IS blood, that IS genetically bound to us,the family that should take it upon themselves to be apart of the sole recognition of their Father, Dad, POP ( ol' bastard ) whatever, on his special day....but their not.

  I like to think that this is one of those days, in a long line of many, where Witness people lose a little bit of their soul . . . they may laugh at that sort of accusation, however, when they lay their heads down to sleep I believe a light fog will fold over their inner sanctum instructing the dream-makers to dance unwelcomed dreams, and it is there that their folly is realized and the hundreds of mind-filed photos of their Fathers is revealed.

  However, when morning comes and the dreams are lost to the wind all is like it was . . .defined, orderly,directed,and shirttail securely tucked. READY for WItnessing !

  That's right, Susan ,last night is gone. Didn't mean anything anyway, right?
