  CAR INSURANCE IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF IN THE WORLD!!!

  i just really need to vent here.........i'm just so f**king tired of never having any extra money!!

  all's i do is work to pay god damn bills......i just checked the balance on my chequing acct.

  and i've got just under $900.00 to last me three weeks.

  Legalized thievery is another name for the business of selling car insurance. The good drivers must pay for the mistakes of the bad drivers; and if you are a good driver that happens to be involved in an accident, your insurance will be cancelled, even though it was not your fault.

  In that same vein, here in Florida, the State's Insurance Commission voted last week to allow certain insurance companies to increase their premiums by 25 % in order to pay for the damage done by hurricane's Ivan and Dennis. Just like car insurance, people uninvolved in the scenario will pay for those who are . . .the insurance companies will never lose money.

  Paradise/death

  can someone clear this up?

  in previous threads many of you tell how your family members truly believe that you will be destroyed and not make it into paradise.

  this is repeated over and over, here and on other boards.

  I was told by my JW wife back in the 70's that only JW's would make it to heaven. Of course she was given this info by the local elders. Then, later, years after we divorced, and our kids were JW adults, I was told by my daughter that because I was never a JW I had a chance at being in paradise after death.

  Why do/don't you believe in God

  now for all the scientists out there this is not a question of proof or anything along those lines.

  for my part i choose to believe in a god because i honestly believe there is one (though i did start doubting for a little while) i've always felt that there was more to our existance on earth - and that doesn't stem from me wanting to live forever or as a spirit, as i don't even know if that will happen.

  i also believe in him because many many times when i could not carry on, on my own strength, i managed to pulled through.

  End of the World Near?

  i am wondering how many people out there still believe that in the next 100 years or so that this world/earth is going to be destroyed?.

  my husband is a christian, and sometimes he is obsessed with world events in the middle east and he thinks one day soon all the christians are going to be raptured away to heaven while the antichrist rules here on earth.

  i am extremely uncomfortable when he talks about it because it reminds me of the jws.. any thoughts out there?

  So, after everybody kisses, hugs and cries and tells one another what a f . . . .ed up religion the WTS is and decide to accept the " Movement" and in the process forgive everyone for the years of abuse against thousands of people, what happens?

In other words, the false prophet charge is not justification for passing final judgment on Jehovah's Witnesses or individual members of the Watchtower organization. "

  This is taken from their site under the topic heading, " The Watchtower Society is a false prophet . . ."

  To me this is nothing but Witness-speak; finding a way out for the guilty ones thus making no one responsible for the lies.
