this is the second time in recent months bethel's been in a sci- fi movie; the first was in "i am legend.".

i thought i perfected the fade, but i guess not.

i live with my parents, and only my mom is a jw.

i haven't been to a meeting since july, and she rarely goes (not for theological reasons).

did you ever hear anyone conspicuously swear at meeting or out in service?

and i'm not talking about sitting in the bleachers with your buddy at the dc and telling dirty jokes.

i mean someone slipping a curseword into her comment at the watchtower study or dropping the f-bomb after realizing he left his bookbag on the roof of the van while pulling out of the kh parking lot with a full car group.. any takers?

i remember mine did, way back in the early- to mid-80's.

it was always funny to all of a sudden hear a trucker hollering out the f-word in the middle of the service meeting!

man, if could only imagine the deer-in-the-headlights look of panic in the eyes of the elders.

NWT Sighting on American Idol: UPDATE

i remember this caused quite a stir a few weeks ago.

for those that don't remember, during a quickly-edited montage on american idol a woman appeared to be holding a copy of the new world translation.

well on tonight's episode it seems this was the mother of a girl named a'ashia ("asia").

mankind has forgotton about science, religion, technology, art, agriculture, everything.
