ah hm...this is not a "JW board" my dear. And don't let any man made organisation tell you it's not right to have doubt. Doubt means your mind is working. Doubt means you're sane.
If I was you 5th I stay a bit and read some more.
Enjoy!

some things confuse me here.
i am in the same position as many where i don't agree with so much the society says and feel stuck dragging myself to the meetings and then feel incredible guilt because the study for the day says it is wrong to have any doubts "even in private".
impossible for me!.

at one of the last bookstudies i ever attended i heard a comment that really struck home to me how desperate these people really are getting, to the edge of insanity.
an older woman commented, "you can tell the end is coming.. its in the air.. you can feel it.. there is something in the air.. times are just.. different" and the whole time she was manically glancing around the room.
the conductor agreed with her.
was she fanning her butt as she was jumping around?

i'm looking for the cheapest round trip ticket possible from maryland to texas.
i was supposed to be on my way there by car, but my friend bailed out at the last minute and i'm not driving that far alone.
My sister who travels alot used this site www.airtran.com . I flew on it when I went to dallas last month. It's not bad and the fare ($69 each way) was pretty good.

i'm thinking back to my childhood here, and remembering hanging out with my jw friends.
my buddies and i, when we were 9, 10 years old knew that we wouldn't stay jws.
we hated the restrictions that were put on us and hated being different.
being raised as a jw only made me feel like a freak
Josie
what are some paranoid dub conspiracy theories that you've heard?
a dub i chatted with a week ago got all frothing-at-the-mouth excited as he told me one.
some people are trying to have a law passed in canada that will make any gay's who want to serve in a priesthood of their church allowable, regardless of the church's policy.
I wonder what his thought process was to make that connection?

i remember at the hall in Menlo Park, California, when i was about 10 or 11, some of the kids, who's parents had recently joined up, were talking about all the holidays they used to celebrate and how much fun they used to have and how they hated not being able to have that kind of fun anymore. I couldnt relate (even though I secretly loved the holidays) since i had never celebrated the forbidden worldly holidays.
Most of those kids, I believe, are not currently jws.

http://www.kentuckylaketimes.com/special/religionwatch/index.php?010619122901jehovah's witnesses - who are they and what do they believe?.
unlike in the case of christians who are persecuted in other lands for talking about jesus christ, jehovah's witnesses are largely persecuted for following the teachings of their corporate headquarters.
the deadbeat watchtower corporation pays no municipal taxes on their buildings, without even one charity to compensate the community.
wow!

about ten years ago i went to centre parcs in the uk and was surprised to find that loads of jws were taking a christmas avoidance holiday.
does this mass holidaying still take place ?
- seems kinda fun.
Around the holidays we used to go to Reno and stay for a few days at the MGM Grand. Mom and Dad had a good time playing the slots.

after years of waiting, i finally turned 18. i remember distinctly that my mother said during an argument that i would not have to attend meetings once i turned 18. well that was a lie.
she denied ever having said such, and pulled the "under my roof" card.
so now she is saying i have to continue attending meetings until i move out.
Save your money, put up a front, and get out as soon as possible. this is the same advice me and my sister gave to our little brother.
Get out of dodge!

.
i was thinking this weekend.. how will sewage treatment be handled in the new system?
i assume mature brothers will be assigned the privilege of working at sewer treatment plants for shifts of 1000 years or so.
You mean to tell me there will be poop in paradise?!
