  What IS the 'Amercian Dream'?

  if a dub needed your help as in a medical emergency or in getting employment/job contract or in getting your support in a dispute with someone on a non religious issue or in some other way such as in a car break down would you help them?

  i wouldn't be here wasn't it for a link on google on the moscow ban that led me here.

  i am shocked by the hatred many of you display in your posts.

  some claim that we break up marriages, yet some of the happiest couples i know are faithfull brothers and sisters.

  and its over "why moral restraint...not removed when 10 commandments passed away".

  so i think this is talking about why the people in the greek scriptures couldnt do their neighbors wife, or you couldnt kill your neighbor even though the 10 commandments wasnt there.

  when we see news reports of jehovahs witnesses who are reported to have done something bad, what do we think?

  sometimes people ridicule us for that.

  obey and become his special property, disobey and be rejected.

  is this issue of the watchtower being part of the un department of public information of any significance?.

  at the district conventions of jehovahs witnesses there are flags of the united states and other sovereign government such as states or other countries hanging from the buildings.

  the governing body and the watchtower society rent buildings which become the equivalent of kingdom halls for the weekend.

  Visiting JW parents... should i be evil?

  my family and i will be visitng my parents this weekend.

  they do not shun us and are in their mid 60's.

  while i'd get satisfaction out of sharing some of the information i've discovered here i don't know that this would be the best thing for them - their whole life and friends are the local jw congregation.

  My parents are in their 60's and diehard jws as well (even though Dad only goes a few times a year) and they still interact with us kids (none of us are jws). I dont engage them anymore about their religious choice as long as they dont engage me about my choice.

  Actually if you read his posts he is a person who is preaching jw dogma and looking to bring us "bad" apostates back into the fold. I see no questioning on his part, only an unneeded sermon of misfounded, misleading, and unwanted jw crap.
