in times past, the society's policy was that a witness mate could divorce their mate who demanded or had them perform oral sex and persisted with their views.. later the policy was revised to mean a witness mate could divorce their mate who had oral sex with someone.....outside of the marriage.. are there any here who had this experience with the old arrangement, or do you know of any cases in which this happened?.

my reason for asking is, i wonder how many lives were ruined by another wt blunder.

Personally, I believe what goes on between a husband and wife regarding sex is totally private, and their own business. No one else has any business buttin in. I have only been with one man, and I know for a fact that oral sex, can be very sensual to both partners.

yes sir ree bob tail, i had a big one.

i had four hours into my brand new job making $18.00 and hour which would have topped out at $25.00 in two months when i got this quezzy feeling in my chest and became light headed and weak kneed.

one of the girls looked out her office door and said, "do you need help?" raising my head off the the lumber pile i answered, "yes, i think i'm having a heart attack?" the pari-medics arrived within minutes ushered me to dessert spring critical care center in las vegas, nv.

Letting go of JW relatives (Long)

i've been out of the jws for some time now, seven years.

like many of you, i left a lot of acquaintances, friends, and family behind.. the acquaintances were fairly easy to let go, the friends very hard, and the family, well, near impossible, at least up until now.

that she should listen to both sides of the story without fear and make her own decision.

Megadude, your story has truly touched my heart. I have a sister and mother who will have nothing to do with me since I left, I cry many tears for not having them in my life, and can't seem to get past the lose. My sister lives just around the corner from me, she moved here awhile ago, she said she came back to live here to set things straight and try to get family back togeather, but to no avail, she still shuns me, if there has been any contact between us, it has always been my doing, with no response from her. I have come to the hard conclusion she doesn't want me in her life. Everytime I set eyes on her, I secretly cry, so she never knows what I go through, and I wonder if she cares at all. It is so hard, because we grew up togeather. For the longest time all we had was each other. I see in her a totally changed person. One who is like a recluse (spelling).
All I want is my sister, the one I used to know back again, yet fear that will never happen. And my mother, well that's a very long and different story.

Attacking Newbie JW's

i was attacked here when i first admitted that i was studying with the jw's.

i also noted that blessed_something or other (sorry, bad memory) was attacked also....just because we say something positive about the jw's!

i think that is mighty unfair and defeats the purpose of you trying to turn us against the jw's.

Violet, I don't know you, but have been reading posts. You ask people not to be so sensitive, well maybe in time if it ever happens and you become on the receiving end of not so loving JW's, as they profess to be and go through the heart-ache, pain and sorrow as some of us have at their un-christian love, you will feel differently, you paint them as being pure-as-the-driven snow, but alot of us know differently, and that is part of the reason they are not part of the org. If being a JW makes you happy, then go where your heart is, but let ones here live in their own peace of mind, and live their lives according, without any added pressure. You don't know what others have experienced through their years as JW's. Some have been through years of pain, sometimes to hard to even speak of. Becareful that when you judge others, that you yourself may be judged. I still remember a talk once and a point was brought out, if you point a finger at someone, there is four fingers pointing back at you. I hope you find the happiness you are looking for.
