I never squeeze the bag, lightly dip it and throw it out, if you squeeze the bag, you may as well chew on it.

I am usually a early shopper, I just feel better if I know things are done. I really don't like dealing with the crowds when it comes to shopping. This year will be a little different, probably more shopping to do in December.

My Story
by Lemon_Lime infirst off, i want to give prop's to "dantheman"......that post inspired me to share my experience, and thanks to everyone that responded to my first post under "desperately seeking"....that was a nice welcome.
this might ramble ..... i was born and bred into the borg....my dad was/is an elder, i had a big family, two older sisters, three younger bro's....i was baptized at 15 (i'm 25 now) and tried to pioneer...give talks...have repsonsibilities...but the wrong feeling that had been welling up in my stomach and kept getting stronger as time went on.. when i moved away from my hometown at 17, my life really started to change.....i met an awesome girl (another jw)....and we fell in love pretty quickly...and i also left home and got my own apt.
(much to my fathers sadness).

I Will agree Granny. How about when you call long distance and they put you on hold, or Musac, to listen to some song for like 5 minutes, I just hang up.

Well isn't this just a good show of christian love, and JW's teach love and kindness, just makes me want to pack my bible under my arm and race to the nearest KH. NOT!!!
Don't we have enough judges in the world, seems we have another one.

Would you throw a pebble at a boulder
by kenpodragon inwould you throw a pebble at a boulder.
in my contact with my witness family i am often confronted with several subjects that make me want to bite my lip and say to myself "don't bother!
" as i realize they would never listen to my thoughts anyway.

Wow, never thought of it that way, good post. Food for thought.
Sometimes the pain is just so intense and in front of us, we don't think clearly about such things.
Thanx for sharing your thoughts.

The shunning begins
by LovesDubs incheck out my mother in laws new thinking...already the jws have firmly replaced her ability to think for herself:.
"dear d"i just got your note today, since i was out of commission for a week or more.i wasn't "waiting to tell you," nor was i going to" jump back into shunning d." i just didn't think this was going to be happy news, and judging from your choice of words in this note, i was right!
i have been going to meetings for a couple of months and have expressed a desire to be reinstated.
