Cheers Frank!
It is amazing you mention it. Murphy's was one of my next few Stout Porters to feature. You beat me to it!
It is a good one. Some like to make comparisons with Guinness, but I believe it stands on its own like any beer.
Can't get Rolling Rock up here. I don't think it is funny that you like it all. Any man or woman that likes Steak is allowed to like Fish or even Foul too....No?
Pale Ales have their place at the table, on the beach, by the pool.......etc.!
Cheers!
Awe I'll take Murphy's over Guinness any day. My son loves Guinness so much that he even went to Ireland to see where it's made.....well that and he was on his honeymoon, LOL. Anyhoo we have that Murphy v Guinness discussion frequently. Good thing about it is he buys me a Murphy's just to compare with his Guinness.....LOL I don't know if he's figured it out yet but I'll even drink a sip or two of the Guinness to get a pint of Murphy's! and free!
Yeah I really tend to like Rolling Rock in the summer time it's a light refreshing beer especially on a hot day.
BTW what are you ridin'?
A bicycle. No more Harley for moi.
BTW do you know what beer a cyclist would be drawn too, LOL just a quiz?
nvb:
Interesting note on Rolling Rock for bikerchic : This brew was produced for generations( since the 1930s) in Latrobe, PA, not far from Pittsburgh.
Sadly, they were recently bought out by Anheuser-Busch, who opted to shut down production in Latrobe. Now it's produced in Newark, NJ.
I didn't know that! I've been to a couple of Bush Garden's theme parks in California back in the days when you could *sample* beer free, yeah that's what I like, hee,hee free beer!
First time I ever tasted an Amber Ale was at the Bush Garden in SandyEggo, they had several experimental beers there too and some of them were darn right awesome, some tasted like skunk water. Never noticed if any made it to market that I recall.

Hello there Frank75! I too love a goot stout beer this being my favorite:
Yet I do confess I'm not really a conosuer of beer but Murphy's has my taste buds a-ga-ga! My friends laugh at me because I love such a full bodied dark beer and my other favorite is totally at the other end of the spectrum being a pale ale fuu-fuu beer, which is:
Oh I could go for one of those right now ice cold, yum!
Cheers!

Not been here for a while
by fullofdoubtnow inthis is the first time i've been on here in about a month, though trev has been posting some days, so i've been able to keep up with everyone's news.
thankyou all so much for the well wishes you keep sending me, they all mean so much.
apart from my other problems, i've had a really painful back injury for the last few weeks, which has made it impossible for me to sit comfortably at the pc.

I have contact with friends, family and clients most days, but some days I am home and actually talk to no one. Not even on the telephone.
Wow sounds like me! I came from a big family with lots of cousins around too. I got married young and quickly had a brewed of my own and never had time for myself until I divorced and lived on my own at 48 years old!
I'm finally doing all right being alone. I've got so much to do that can only be done when I am by myself.
I love being alone and find lots to do to keep myself busy. I find that being around people for too long puts me on overload and I have to have some time alone to de-stress myself.

Make up: Love it or loathe it?
by Crumpet ini have just gotten around to taking off last nights trowelling and what a relief that is!
i rarely wear make up - maybe once a month, so i probably go over board.

What do you love or loathe about make up? Are you an addict? Would you never leave the house without your armour? And guys (who aren't trannies) do you like women with or without? Have you ever woken up to the face on the pillow and not on the woman and been a bit turned off?
all cosmetically enhanced stories welcome here!
(I need a hot bath to end this very long session and to eat as its been a day or two.)
I usually don't feel dressed unless I've got my makeup on. I use mineral powder as my foundation and love the way it evens out my complexion. I wear less make up now that I'm older than I ever did when I was young. Just tweeze my brows, powder, blush, some mascara and lip gloss is all for me most days.
I have gotten into the habit lately of doing way too much around the house and needing to get to work in a hurry so I take a quick shower and moisturize my face and go to work without any makeup on and I must admit it feels freeing! Also good because no one sees me at work as I'm mostly alone and I know absolutely no one where I live so I could care less who sees me!
