  i dont think i can.

  i dont think there is anything i could hear or see that would make me turn red or cause my mouth to hang agape.

  its used to be a source of pride for me.

  First rock concert

  i have recently talked with other members on jwd about the first time they went to a concert.

  it was interesting the different choices of artists, and the age we were when we finally went to one.. my first was after i got my driver's license, so i was 16 years old.

  i went to see a concert with black oak arkansas, foghat, and montrose (when sammy hagar was just a pup).

  The first gig I went to was when I was 16 at Rock City Nottingham. I can't remember the name of the band - they weren't famous, but I was dating the lead singer who was 40-something and reminded me of Alice Cooper.

  The first proper gig I went to was when I was 22 - U2.

  Last gig I went to was the Police a couple of months back.

  Best live performance probably a toss up between Ozzy Osbourne and

  Who I really want to see now - Linkin Park.

  An omelette with jalapeno salsa, turkey sausage, whole grain toast, and orange juice.

  Dinner will be grilled shrimp that has been marinated in lime, garlic, cilantro, and jalapenos, rice, and a vegetable yet to be determined.

  Beks - can I take it you like your food spicey? I love jalapenos too and that menu sounds fantastic!

  Rekless - thank you for the recipe and Bourne for the picture. I think I'm up to replicating that! I still don't know why its called Adam and Eve on a raft though???

  Crumpet, OMG, I just read about your adventure!!! It was not hard, to picture myself in your shoes!! I would have yelled my fool head off. You reacted with dignity, and strength. Not Me!!! LOL The yoga and pilates, are what helped you make it over the wall. I would have never made it.

  I'm British. We're born and bred with stoicism, dignity and strength, don't you know! (Otherwise known in the rest of the civilised world as "repression").

  Now I know you don't mind being hit on by other women.... LOL!

  Thanks! It's traditional to have a Sunday roast and I haven't had red meat for weeks so I'm really looking forward to it!
