if tou're like me, 5 hrs for the meetings per week, 4 hrs(maybe) service per month and thats it.
the 5 hrs for meetings includes average 2 hrs of nap time
can't do more in jehovah's service?
start buying out time from non-essential activities.. how many times have we heard this phrase?.
ever wondered how much an average jw who preaches 10 hours a month, spends on jw activities in a year?.

.
i didn't mind going to any bar, if i felt like it.
i know that the average jw wouldn't have went to these places.
im still a jw. i go to bars and probably drink too much, enjoy an occasional good cigar, listen to rock'roll music, have oral sex w/wife, and whatever else i damn well please.
blondie
u forgot the "Keep on the Watch" brochure before the Daniel book(again and again....)
the following is quoted in it's entirety (excepting cited scriptures after each question) from the new release organized to do jehovah's will, pages 182-218.. .
questions for those desiring to be baptized.
part 1 elementary bible teachings.
Acts 8:36 ethiopian eunoch: Look! A body of water. what prevents me from being baptized?
Vs. 37:------(nothing)
Vs. 38: With that he commanded the chariot ot halt, and they both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunoch; and he baptized him
Where are all the d#$* questions?
i went to the kingdom hall for the very last time.
i went in the door in my guns n roses t-shirt and ripped up lucky jeans, new earrings and goatee.
i went up to the po of the congregation and told him i needed to talk to him.
hey dustin
"think for yourself. question authority"
sound familiar?
well - this is my first post.
i want to express my gratitude to all of you in jwd land for the help you provide.
i'd be glad to relate stories, and experiences in the future, but wanted to introduce myself first.
greetings! you'll love this site! look 4ward to your story.
my teenage son is visiting this week, and was concerned that he was missing the "special announcement" being made today.
he was very suprised that i already knew about the awake being only once a month.
i told him i knew of that several months ago.
there was no letter read, just an old kind, elder pulling the book out of a paper bag , showing it to us and telling us that any pub can get one after the meeting
there had been some buzz because no one was supposed to know about the release.. i swear everyone at my hall must be visitors to this forum.
or the elder's wives network must've done their usual job of telling everyone.. i would have expected an applause.
not even a line of people to get the book.
most everybody but me(and my wife-i need to find out why) i dont applaud AFTER the assemblies either, nor do i applaud while ALL the baptism candidates leave the auditorium. actually i only want to applaud after every meeting ends so i can go home!
i'm heading out in a moment to the meeting.
just wondering if anyone had a chance to actually flip through the pages yet?
funny how the wt study for today is basically a "never question jehovah or his organization" and we get a new organization book.
S.O.S. different cover/title
i just wanted to say hello to everyone.
i'm an inactive, spiritually weak witness of not so good standing who stumbled on here the other day while trying to find out what tomorrows big announcement was going to be, after being told my mother that i might wanna go to the hall on sunday to find out.
it's cool seeing so many people who have shared some of the same experiences i have in the past.
welcome "brother" Marr
