  a pirated cd with kingdom melodies, first said to have been done by george benson and prince and their wives and later by george benson and celine dion and still later by george benson and an anonymous sister, is creating a stir in jehovist circles.

  someone became suspicious and called george benson who told him that it was stolen by a brother who had left patterson and was put on a cd and distributed illegally.

  someone else called the audiovisual dept.

  Letter from my mother........

  well, it's starting.

  my parents came by the house this past weekend and their memories were refreshed by the christmas lights we had up around the house that i was no longer a jw along with my husband and children.

  today she left this note in my car, along with a poncho that she knitted for me ..........tell me what you think, i want to write her back, but i would love to have some suggestions to use!

  Will Commentary press send CoC anonymously?

  i'm wondering - if i want to send a copy of coc to an old friend - and send a money order and mailing address to commentary press - would the book be sent to the person with them being unable to find out who sent it?

  i found out that an old friend is df'ed but trying to get reinstated.

  i just want him to have something to think about while he sits in shame at the back of the hall.

  i recently went to a "pentacostal church" with my neighbor who has been a devout pentacostal for 30 years.

  she has been asking me for years to come to her church since i left jw's so i finally went with her a few sundays ago.

  i must admit i was nearly scared "speechless".

  I know the pentacostal church near me carries on the same way. I don't care where it is, I'm not sticking around to see people catch the holy ghost or whatever they want to call it. That was never cool w/me. Making you pay before leaving is ridiculous, but to me expected from churches. That along with the "be with us or you will not be saved" bullshit is cultish.

  Christmas Family Reunion Tarnished by the Borg

  my mother died from breast cancer less than a year after my high school graduation.

  right before her illness she had finally left my abusive step-father and was close to seeing the light about the borg.

  then she got sick and the elders told her she needed to return to her husband or be out of jah's favor.

  I agree with Ascot. I hope she'll come see you this month, just for the sake of reuniting.
  They have such a way of dragging people down who just want to belong to someone/something. Hopefully, one day, she will realize that blood can be thicker than the borg.
