William Shakespeare
Sonnet 36 Let me confess that we two must be twain
Let me confess that we two must be twain,
Although our undivided loves are one:
So shall those blots that do with me remain
Without thy help by me be borne alone.
In our two loves there is but one respect,
Though in our lives a separable spite,
Which though it alter not love's sole effect,
Yet doth it steal sweet hours from love's delight.
I may not evermore acknowledge thee,
Lest my bewailed guilt should do thee shame,
Nor thou with public kindness honour me,
Unless thou take that honour from thy name:
But do not so; I love thee in such sort
As, thou being mine, mine is thy good report. -

A small, still voice -- ringing out!
by AlmostAtheist inif you're unfortunate enough to have never read any of poppers or jamesthomas's posts, you're really and truly missing out.
it's not that they say anything all that astounding, it's more that they point out how very little has to be said.
it's not what they add, as much as what they allow you to drop.

It is comforting to see posts by people who have the same outlook on life as yourself. They both helped me a great deal upon my exit, my own crisis of conscience. Life itself, is amazing.
And yes, letting go of reckless emotional searching & false power over myself has done much to better my life, to better me inside more than mere words on this post can even express.
"Where do I go now?" was answered......I'm already here!
The expressions of both poppers and James Thomas have allowed me to find much inner peace that had been with me all along. I just was not paying attention to it.

GOD: GOING.....GOING...Going...going....GONE!
by Terry inthink about this.. go way back...far far back in history.. go back before the internet.
go back farther.. go back before newspapers, tv and radio.. go waaaaay back before there was public education.. return to a time when there were no universities or libraries.. go even farther back in time and return to when it was thousands of years before any modern era.. people got their ideas from their families and neighbors period!.
everything was rumor.

Do you lick the lid of life??
by ilovegravy inok, so there`s a tv ad doing the rounds in the uk about yoghurt and its strapline is "do you lick the lid of life?
" so it gets me thinking.
to my knowledge, and i could be wrong here, but as far as i know, yoghurt in cartons is the only food in which our instant reaction is to lick the lid...i can`t think of any more ...can you?.
