Not Having Kids in 'This System....'
by lonelysheep inone of my former bs conductors and her husband decided when they got married, they wouldn't have any kids 'in this system'.
i know the world could be better, but i see no reason not to have children if that's what your wishes really are....and you're able to for that matter.
she just turned 34 and really wants to have a child.

What causes most JW's to lose the ability to reason?
by XBEHERE intake a look at this wt excerpt from another thread that i copied and pasted:.
*** g93 3/22 why so many false alarms?
jehovah?s witnesses, in their eagerness for jesus?

By reading the posts I am reminded of an incident many years ago. I informed my JW-father, that my gut instinct told me to get out of this org immediately. You know his answer? He said: "Gut instincs are not reliable, only listen to reason!"
Seems JW don't even get that right.
What's left over???
Oh yeah...I was told the same answer in reply to just about anything I felt inside me. "Don't listen to your own heart, LS, you must always listen to
jehovah's counselfor your own protection." So I (along w/everyone else I assume) loses the ability to reason beyond what you're told to say, think and feel to keep in line w/the borg. This is how members are brainwashed and manipulated, believing it's only right and a good thing to not think on their own, or reason. -

we were talking about moving around to different places and asked if we desire to see more of the us why don't we just pack up and go?
i stated that we wanted to adopt or have a child in a few years.

I WANT to be accepted and loved for who I am.
And it'd be sad if she didn't love and accept a granchild just for who they are, too.
I forgot to add...I agree w/Franklin, and that I wouldn't say anything to him, either.

((((Walter))))
They both work full-time, she takes college courses at her job on non-meeting nights, and she pioneers all weekend, every weekend. They take vacation just to pioneer. I feel like she will regret this one day and I'd hate to see her go through that, yet that's the road they're on. They are gung-ho jw's and have no intention of leaving, only doing more.
But everytime she sees my kids, she says she wants one.

Did you or anyone you know subscribe to this thought, and what was the end result? Were you/they happy with this decision?
