  somehow this totally zany 'bible based' article passed me by first time around!.

  Calculators were bigger back then and more expensive when they first came out. The WTS often uses the cost of something to be a flaw, especially when you should be giving them that money.

  i'm interested to know the age demographics here.

  it must be significantly different to other exjw forums.

  it would be a damning report for watchtower if most of us appear to have left for decades.. you don't have to mention your exact age, you could always say "in my 50s".. i am in my 70s.

  What would happen if the religion just straight out gets outed as bad? The ORG admits to it and all the members get told to disperse

  you would have had to qualify as an elder previously.

  this would mean the male would have had to have been an elder in his early 20's.

  What has the Spiritual Paradise of the WTS been over time

  the first mention i find in the wts publications is 1958. although the wts says the index goes from 1930 to 1985, nothing appears before 1958 a search only found by using the phrase "spiritual paradise" not in the index.

  in 2015 there was a clarification of the phrase "of course, we should not conclude that the terms “spiritual paradise” and “spiritual temple” are the same.

  the spiritual temple is god’s arrangement for true worship.".

To identify Ephraimites trying to flee across the Jordan River, the Gileadites used the password “Shibboleth,” which had an initial “sh” sound. The men of Ephraim betrayed themselves to the Gileadite sentries at the fords of the Jordan by saying “Sibboleth” instead of “Shibboleth,” mispronouncing the opening sound of the word.
