i'm to angry right now to write a complete synopsis on the following article from the watchtower.

it regarding child molestation and repressed memories.

I'd like to ask the child-raping cult about this scripture: Deaut.22: 25-27

Mcsemike, My son wrote the Watchtower Society and ask them about that scripture because we had 2 child molesters in the congragation we attended and both admitted they were guilty. One was sent to prison but left in good standing with the congragation and the other is going to meetings and commenting like nothing happened. The Society wrote the congragation were my son went and told them to send 2 elders to talk with him. So when my son showed the elders the scripture in Deaut. they said "there had to be two witnesses." My son said "But it says "No One heard her scream." The elders said the same thing"there had to be 2 witnesses." My son disagreed with them and also disagreed on another doctrine so they disfellowshipped him and labled him an Apostate.His wife also was DF. We have been out now for about 4 years and we are happy to be out of the cult. Have other kids in it but keep hoping they will wake up.

what are their proofs that god is running the show and what evidence is there that god is not running the show.. could be interesting to see what we can all come up with.

Matthew 24:14 and Preaching in the First Century

mark presents both the jerusalem invasion and the coming of the son of man in judgment as closely connected, which reflects the time when the gospel was likely written (i.e.

shortly before or after ad 70).

Seventy Years: Jeremiah 25:12 vs Zechariah 1:12

the scripture in jeremiah below clearly says the 70 years would end when babylon was conquered.

yet the scripture in zechariah below (written circa 517/518) says that they were still in the seventy years period at that time.. is there a way to reconcile these two scrips?.

ithinkisee, Jeremiah is saying the 70 years end when Babylon is conquered in 539 like you said. Zechariah 1 :1 says this 70 years at Zechariah 1:12 started in Darius's 2nd year and I believe Darius's 1st year was 522 so these 70 years are not related. That is my thought.

to get straight to the point, my daughter rang me today to tell me her boyfriend's step dad (an inactive dub for many years........1st time i'ld heard) was studying again and was moving toward going back to the borg.

Bliss, Don't know the links but go to SEARCH on your computer and type in The Watchtower & cigarette company. That might work. Also for the UN type in Jehovah's Witnesses link to Un and if you didn't know about the organization owning 51% of a company that makes War Weapons type in Watchtower's Investments in Warfare Technology. Hope this helps.

Sinis, I know just how you feel. My daughter-in-law also knows they are wrong. She said she didn't mind belonging to an organization that was wrong . And my own Daughter said even if she knew they were wrong, she didn't know if she could leave. Had a friend to tell me exactly the same. Just can't understand why they want to waist their lives in a cult. I think it is the people in the organization they love more than the truth so it doesn't leave much hope for ones like that. Waisted the best years of my life in that cult It's a shame so many of us did. Have been out now about 3 years.
