You could also look at the sneaky change to the 2 big questions for each baptismal candidate has to answer on the day. These changed and not too many even heard it or saw it. Man I didn't.

Wow did he flush, he went scarlet red and then told me jesus died for sinners like me. Mustv'e taken all his strength not to come after me and smash me.... -

These poor people go to church for hours EVERY night!! They also have huge working bees and the church gets the pay for the jobs they do. A guy I know though reckons that they get huge hand out from the government, they must use the no tax on churches to the max. I think he said they run their businesses through the church, buy their houses through the church and cars too. A lot of the ones I have seen drive late model vehicles.
They dont like answering questions about their church or beliefs. They cant watch TV or listen to the radio or have computers or even read papers. They are very male-centric. -

I wondered about this. The person behind this web site has definitley balls of steel. I wondered how long it would be before they were taken down. If not by legal means then by stealth. Maybe "Ted" or one of his clones has been doing a computer course at night school??

May 28--Four years since Dateline's JW sex abuse program aired. Results?
by AndersonsInfo insunday, may 28, 2006, is the fourth anniversary from when a threshold was crossed into uncharted waters.
on may 28, 2002, the u.s. television news program, dateline, publicized to millions of viewers the facts about watchtower's deceitful child abuse policies which protect pedophiles who target and molest jws' vulnerable children.
subsequently, this subject caught the interest of media throughout the world who, through careful investigation, substantiated the allegations made on dateline.

My wife and I have left due to this issue. It has been a challenging position to be in as we all know. I thank people like Barbara and Bill and those who assisted them in getting this ionfo out there when they did, at a huge personal cost to themselves.
Most r&F jw's do not know how these cases are handled and just "trust" the the elders know exactly what to do, and that they handle these situations properly...as God himself would.
There are many who have left because of the publicity. How can you support their policies by contimuing to attend when you know that it is wrong. Does God's righteous standards change?
If the answer is no, then whgy would he allow his so called representatives on earth to make such a huge stuff up as this.
Glad to be free. Thanks again. -

Elder removed proceedure?
by Synergy inwhen an elder gets removed or steps down, does he have to turn in his private elders book or can he keep it as a souvenier?

I had lent my book to another guy who had just become a new elder. So when I "stepped" down, it wasn't in my posession. But, I had downloaded a word version of the book, so I borrowed my book back and copied every note that I had as well as any changes in "procedure" and terminology. So I dont have my actual book, but do have it in word doc.
Someone said It aint right to keep it...who said it aint right? Lots of ex elders keep theirs. It is the one book I wish that I had kept. Any one got one spare?
If I knew how to break and enter, I know where there are 3. But I'd be the one burgular to get caught!! -

Special seating for children at an assembly
by Bonnie_Clyde inas i was reading an article in a 1941 wt about the 15,000 children from ages 5 to 18 sitting in a special section at the assembly in st. louis, i had a sudden flash of memory.
there was a more recent assembly where they asked the children to sit in a special section because they were directing a talk at the young people.
more i think of it, it might have when when they were releasing the "young people ask" book, and that was in 1989. if that was the year, my son was age 15. i tried to get him to move to that section and he refused.

They made the children to about aged 18 sit in a special section for the release of the "Your Youth, How to get the Best out of It" c1976
