  i faded away from the jw cult last year (loaded language but i have my resons now).

  i got my family out which was great.

  from then on it's been a typical story of leaving a cult, though.

  i just got my hands on a copy of my book of bible stories ... (1978).

  at first i was excited when a friend pulled it out of his bag, said he'd gotten it as a kid.

  then i started flipping through, looking at the pictures, feeling the memories spin in my brain.

  If I could ever stand for anything on this board (other than hitting on the hot married and/or taken woman ) it would be to guard your children especially from ANY Watchtower material whatsoever. The residual effects stick around long after a person has left the religion. Its tough stuff to get over and its a terribly sad thing to do to youngsters, even if it seems harmless.

  I remember reading that Awake! article and thinking that something sounded really fishy with this guy. I feel so stupid for being a part of such a crock of shit now. You can't go to school because of the empty reasonings of Satan's system but, hey, heres a SCIENTIST who thinks our chronology is bang on!! Now arent you glad you don't have to think for yourselves? What a joke.

  My Favorite Songs of 2004

  every year since 1991 i have been making my own "mix-tape" (since 1998, my own "mix-tape" cd) of my favorite songs of the year.

  i have just completed my cd for 2004. one of the real pleasures of doing this is finding the right track order to make the styles of the songs flow smoothly from one to another, while keeping some semblance of the chronological progression of the year.

  Definetly want to live forever. Just think of all the girls you could meet. There would always be something interesting to find to do. Even if you are just sitting around smoking dope its better than being dead.
