a sad moment..

apparently someone attacked ez board and wiped out much of their data.

Again, the Best Turkey Ever.
by JamesThomas inlike everyone this time of year when the weather is getting warm, thoughts turn to turkey.. i buy a small turkey around twelve pounds and do a high-heat chef marc turkey.
but before i do that, i brine it over night in salt water, onions and herbs.. it's to die for.. ok, the kitchen gets unbearably hot for a while, but then you have all this wonderful moist turkey to make cold sandwiches with.
try it, and you will never cook a turkey the old way again.. j

Does the WTBTS still control your life?
by Honesty indo you follow the arrangement dictated by the governing body of jw's regarding df'd and da'd individuals?
do you shun the jw's like you are expected to by wt leaders or do you speak to jw's and greet them with a smile even if they shun you when you do so?
in complying with wtbts rules of acceptable behavior for da'd or df'd persons do you think that you are showing unconditional love to your neighbor?

Do Not Follow “Artfully Contrived False Stories”
I really want to hear what they have to say in this talk too. Could it be the artfully contrived story that Jerusalem fell in 607 B.C.E? Or that Christ chose the Bible students as the one channel of salvation in 1919?

Do you remember when you first Googled "Jehovah's Witnesses"?

i was sick to my stomach because i feared that i was disobeying jehovah.
although i was scared that i would find something "apostate" or "demonic", i still continued to click on different links.

I remember it. It was the the first week I had purchased my computer, lol. Ended up clicking on the "Official Website of Ex- Jehovah's Witnesses". I wrote the webholder a nasty email telling him how he should be ashamed of himself. haha.
After a year or so I started reading up on Timothy Campbell's website "Beyond Jehovah's Witnesses". I still think that's the most concise ex- dub website. No frills just straight up, unarguable facts. I felt so freaked out at times, thinking about deemonz and shit. I tried to push all the doubts away, put my head down and just keep going to meetings. Read Ray's books and DA'ed. Things from then on have just gotten better and better, but I never want to forget how tough it was to leave.
