kinda funny re. District Assembly
by GetBusyLiving inover the past few years i would buy my old dub friend and his wife a coffee in the mornings and we would car pool to the district conventions.
he just wrote me an email and asked if i would be getting the coffee's again for them this year, all tounge in cheek.
i replied "no problem, just come find me on the assembly grounds.

I'll be the guy screaming with the "Jehovah's Witnesses Kill Babies" placard waving in everybody's face. Would you like cream and sugar with that?"
I haven't gotten a reply back yet. What's up with that?

Question: have any of you guys ever known anybody that asks for help in choosing between the cult and a relationship to actually leave the relationship? Every person I've ever advised has chosen to stick with the cultist and trudge along in the Witnesses. It's sad.

is expected of you, get baptised as a teenager become a ms then elder.
i always had my doubts about the society and its teachings but was.

Consolidated Guerilla Apostasy Tactics for 2005 District Conventions
by seattleniceguy inwe've had several very interesting threads going on about how those of us who are still on the inside can work to open the eyes of the witnesses at the district conventions this summer.
since people have been making scattered suggestions on scattered threads, i thought we should start a consolidated thread here that lays all the options out on the table for those that want to be a part of it.

It's a little too late this year for Calgary but next year I'm going to organize a sort of Joni Mitchell-esq protest concert just outside of the assembly grounds. I believe music is a magical thing and a nice acoustic set (no pantera, sorry guys) might win over some dubs into seeing we are peaceful protesters and not frothing at the mouth demon possessed people. Perhaps we could "win them over without a word". I'd like to set things up so the music is just loud enough for the attendees to hear as they walk in, during the lunch break, and after they file out. If anybody would like to help me with this in any way please send me a PM.

to celebrate, he earlier went out with his pals, got well and truly sozzled in several pubs and indulged in the highly dangerous pastime of partaking in a few psycho tequilas!
