i was driving in my brothers car with him about 5 years ago (hes now an elder), we were in the middle of a row when he turned to me and told me that when i die at armageddon that i dont need to worry because he said he will look after my kids, this upset me to the point that i made him stop the car and i got out.

a friend of mine (who is a jw) i spoke to about it told me that he was just trying to be cruel and then went on to tell me that any children who are a part of a witness family would die at armageddon.

i would like to know if anyone knows if this true ?

At a District Convention I heard a speaker try to rationalize the killing of millions of children in the big A. He said that the world is getting so evil that children are getting worse and worse, then gave an example of some kid that blew his parents away. It was about the stupidest reasoning for something I'd ever heard a dub say, and there he was saying it right at the DC. I looked around at all my dub friends and there they were, just lapping it up.. with those crazy eyes.

i enjoy discussing god with people from all walks of life & all beliefs.

this is just something that has been skipping about in my brain...is it possible that god appeared to different cultures as different gods????

to the jews of the ancient days he appeared as yahweh, to the buddhist as budda, to the christians as jesus, to the moselim as allah etc etc.. i know the witnesses taught that everyone doesn't worship the true god & not all religions lead to god.

It's a nice thought. Reminds me of the movie "What Dreams May Come". I would think if there is a God and he isn't evil that could be a possiblity. But really anything at all is possible. I personally don't think so.

Is it just me, or do j-dubs have "crazy eyes"?

have you ever noticed someone who has a 1000 yard (meters for you english types.

well i keep noticing that dub women in particular have this creepy 1000 yard stare.

and then a while after my wife got dunked she and the kids got in one of those picture booths.

I dated a girl that got those "crazy eyes" whenever she was talking to anyone at the Kingdom Hell. I'm pretty sure it was just her trying to look like she was interested in whatever mundane shit the person she had to chat with was saying. After all, they see each other sooo much small talk does get incredibly boring.. she would get those huge eyes and just nod and nod. Freaky.
