God does not reveal himself to the casual observer" I beleive that. So we have to go from being a casual observer to an active participant. One good way is to spend regular time in prayer and Bible reading, use several translations. Seek the real "Truth" and he will let himself be found.
Amen ! I have met the Lord on a continuous basis, not in person but in my heart and it makes me feel good that so many here still do believe in Jesus..It was not to long ago in the past here on JWD where the majority did not any longer believe. It made it difficult to associate with those who did not. God is real all you have to do is open your eyes and your heart and you will see him. Gods speed to all of you.

Well I can see it now all schools will have to build fences with metal detectors in all our schools. This mourning 33 dead including the killer and 29 injured. This is just crazy !

i have been fine allweek until now tonight.
becuasuse i am wathcing a good year with very manly rusel crowe and we watched it at movies together and made plans for our good life together that now we cant ever have because he doesnt love me enough to leave what i bleieve religiously alone.

Why not just leave religion alone altogether?
by dawg ini was wondering why many of you turn to to other religions after being freed from the foolishness of the jw's?
after i relieved myself of the burden of the foolish witnesses, i was able to understand god in my own fashion and i've never felt better.
many religions pratice mind control similar to the wittnesses so why not free yourselves from all of them?

I do not attend church at all. Not that I have anything against some churches because there are some good ones. But I am quite comfortable with the personal relationship I have with the Lord. Thats how it supposed to be a personal relationship in your own heart. Instead of tithing I choose to donate my money to other places that really need our cash like St. Judes or Cystic Fibrosis or even the Aids foundation.

Well if I was still going to meeting which I am not, I could'nt careless. I would say yep thats me what the hell do you want to do about it ? Take away my birthday ? Oh hell no. I fear noone from the society at all. They are absolutely the least of my fears. Read that lurker spies !
