We have all kinds of hunting seasons here. Bear hunting, deer hunting, coyote hunting, turkey hunting, small game hunting..... you name it, we have it. But cat hunting? Hot dam. *shudders* I'm a very peaceful person, but say a prayer for the bastard who would try and shoot my cat.

Wisc. Hunter Wants Open Season for Cats
by unbeliever inhttp://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=519&e=26&u=/ap/20050307/ap_on_re_us/hunting_cats
madison, wis. - hunter mark smith welcomes wild birds on to his property, but if he sees a cat, he thinks the "invasive" animal should be considered fair game.
the 48-year-old firefighter from la crosse has proposed that hunters in wisconsin make free-roaming domestic cats an "unprotected species" that could be shot at will by anyone with a small-game license.

WHAT'S THE WORST JOB YOU EVER HAD?
by Mary inthe worst one i ever had was working in a frozen chicken factory.
there were about 30 of us in a freezing cold room and my shit job was to feel the half-frozen chicken breasts up, to see if there were any little bones in them.
well after the first 5 minutes my frigging fingers were frozen stiff, so i couldn't tell if there were any bones in there or not........after 20 minutes it felt like my hands were having an out of body experience and if they weren't in front of my frozen face, i would've thought they had dropped off.

LMFAO
Sorry Mary, that does sound like a crappy job. It was kind of funny though.

According to the JW's, everybody who has ever lived will have a resurrection. The righteous ones (read : the JW's), will be resurrected to live forever on a paradise earth. The unrighteous ones (read : non JW's), will be resurrected, only to be destroyed again, this time forever and ever.

Prophesy
by jeanniebeanz inwell, over the years we as witnesses have endured many failed prophecies from people who claim to have god's cell phone number.
it got me wondering, how much worse could we do individually?.
what predictions do you all have for, say, the next 50 years?

December 2014 : While the last baby born in 1914 is blowing out a hundred candles on his birthday cake, the now bi-monthly watchtower rolls off the printing presses. On the front page is a picture of a sunrise. Underneath is written..
We are seeing the end of a dark night,
The Spirit has granted us new light.
Open your hearts, let the light shine
If you don't read anything else, read page nine.
On page 9 is yet a new explanation of 'this generation'. "Divine intervention has made it possible for us to have a better understanding of 'this generation'. We are sorry if some over-zealous members have taken our words for granted in the past, and thus built up false hopes that the end of this wicked system of things would come during their lifetime. We have now come to understand that 'this generation' also includes the descendants of the descendants of the descendants of the descendants of the descendants of the descendants of the descendants of the 1914 generation. Specifically, this means that the end of this wicked system of things may be expected in 700 years, counting from 1914 on. We now have a definite date to look forward to, and the beauty of it all is that we (the writers of this article) will be long dead by then, and we won't have to worry about it, should a miscalculation still sneak in.

I went to a catholic school. Four times a year, the school would collect money "to send to the poor people in Africa". More than once I emptied my piggy bank and gave every cent I had. Strange enough, after every 'collection', I'd see something new in the school. New chairs, a new blackboard, etc.. I started paying attention to that, and sure enough it never failed. I stopped giving money. When the nuns asked me why I was not donating any money, I told them exactly why. I got suspended for being disrespectful.

I know this is going to sound disgusting, but I will write it down in case there is anyone out there who could possibly offer a suggestion.
I had a sinus infection, now 14 months ago. Ever since that sinus infection, I have been suffering from serious post-nasal drip. (This is when your sinuses drain into your throat). The doctor has given me at least 8 different meds, from antibiotics to anti- allergy stuff, but nothing helps. I have tried natural stuff, and have even made my own solution, a mixture of water, salt, corn syrup and baking soda. I 'drain' my sinuses with this 3 times a day, but that doesn't help either. I really would like to get rid of this problem, 14 months is a long time.
