You could try this. Go to http://www.ccleaner.com/ and download. It is free. It will clean out alot of junk. Only use it for cleaning the temporary internet files. Don't do anything else. The go and download http://www.malwarebytes.biz/ and download About:Buster and follow directions. It is also free. For a Browser Hijacker, you can download HS Remover at http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4286.html/ -it is free. You will have to change your start page back after that one if it worked properly.
These programs work well for me. I've also used Hijack This, which is great and will tell you where your problem is as long as you don't delete anything important, and that is hard to determine sometimes. Perhaps you could run the program, and then post your Hijack This log to someone on this forum that is very knowledgeable.
If nothing else, these programs will help you keep your machine running good after you get this situation cleared up.

god bless this site
by hurt dave infor someone who was raised in the "truth" for 17 years it was a very hard and a very scary decision when my father finnally had the "you must choose a side of the fence" speech and when i chose not to do it anymore he flipped his lid and i so "tormented" by my decsion i latched on to "maryjane" to fill the "need".
after living with my parents for two years and then on my own for two more years crying everynoght cause i was alone not knowing way i felt this way this way, i felt a spirtual need at 3:30am i drove to my dads house and beged him to let me came home because the "voices" were drivin me crazy and i needed "guidance" he said well get you a meeting with elders and a "bible study".
so i move back in, had a talk with the elders where they used the bible to call me stupid and i went to there meeting where they used what i said in private and made a whole new talk based around it i broke down crying and prayed to god for the guidacne to make me strong and make the tears stop and the holy spirt led me to this site i moved in with my brother and told my parents i can know longer belive the "truth".

Welcome, hurt dave!
You've had a rough time of it, but it will gradually get better now. I'm not saying there won't be low times, but now the world is your oyster. How great that you have a brother to share this with, and now you have all of us, too.

Yes, on Thursday nights. They wouldn't want it on a Sunday in case some "interested ones" or studies would hear and question. Very clever of them.

Yes, I have to agree with Honesty on this one. The elders will smell blood after this. Just remember, they are only Keystone Cops and have no real authority. Unless they are carrying a badge, you don't have to answer any more questions unless you want to.
Just the fact that the Tower was affiliated with the UN was what finally made my husband leave. He didn't care at that point about their excuses-if it was God's sole channel on earth they wouldn't have made the mistake in the first place. He, though, wouldn't do the research. I had to, so I kept digging until I found the proof of their lies. There is a copy of the letter the UN wrote to counteract all the inquiries, and in it they wrote that their requirements have never changed and that they have never "tricked" anyone. It is somewhere in the "Best Of" files here. I sent a copy of that letter in to my elders after our "invitation" to our JC. I wasn't going to let them get away with excuses. I figured even if they said it was all contrived, it might make someone take notice and check things out for themselves.
Keep us posted.

"Truth is a pathless land"
by Justin inimagine the leader of a religious organization telling his people to fold it up and go home.
that's just what happened in 1929 when jiddu krishnamurti dissolved his order of the star.
he was 34 years old, and was being groomed by theosophists to be the new messiah since childhood, but decided he would have none of it.

You said you just told her about the UN/NGO affair. What comments did she have to this?

I"ll take a chance and bet no. The location might stumble some of those ultra-righteous super sensitive consciences, don'tchya know?
The last 3 witness funerals I went to were all memorial services after the actual cremation. I thought it was odd, too.
