Since they had to make the announcement requesting delegates for these conventions 3 or 4 times and lowered the requirements of attendance each time I'm surprised that anyone is actually going.
Years ago as soon as an international convention was announced all the cool popular witnesses signed up and went over. It seems the sheep aren't so loose with their time and money.

He sounds like a great guy. But, is it possible that the gf thought he was being taken advantage of by his family? Maybe that's why she wasn't all that interested in them.

Oh this sickens me. I wouldn't blame the witness literature or anything. Just a sick sick person.
I know this is really disgusting but as I read the article I really didn't know what this meant:
Police said the baby had been mutilated from the inside out.

Anyway, I agree with LT once the dogmatism is stripped from both sides Love is all there is.
Regardless of your opinions, beliefs and viewpoints - Love.

by RichieRich inover the past couple of weeks, i've learned a lot about myself and those around me.
life might suck, but life moves on.. mom's grip is weakening, prob.
because she's getting tired, or because she's beginning to realize how things are.. not everything i have done is admirable, but its done.

Why do the British dubs have such an animosity to Harry Potter?!
by CaptainSchmideo inif i have ever mentioned that i've seen the movies or read the books to a witness in gb, i get the kind of reaction that used to be reserved for smurfs here in america.. i am not naive enough to not understand any discomfort with a school for witches, but this stuff is about as threatening as casper the friendly ghost.
i find the books charming, if a little long winded and formulaic.
the movies, especially the later two, tighten up the plots and jettison a lot of excess baggage.

I don't think most dubs would watch Casper cartoons or read the Caspar comic books.
Some dubs don't watch Disney movies with magic in them either. For example, bedknobs and broomsticks, Aladin.
