  not the truth, liars for hundreds of years, such a lack of love, cruelty to those who do not believe any longer and to those still in, waste of a life, willful murder of children by not taking life saving blood transfusions, hyprocrisy, favortism, child abuse....etc....i hate it!!!!!

  where sincerity, mercy, love predominated the witnesses at one time?

  or has it always been like it is today, corrupt, hypocritical, abuse of power, unloving?

  just curious if it started out with good intentions and then like anything else as time goes on and it becomes too big for unqualified people to handle it, it all goes bad..

  jgnat, that was excellent advice. I have executed #1 and #3. I have to find work somewhere else first before I leave. Also, I have told her that if she starts just one more fight I will take the car and leave for the night. We'll see what happens.

  my sil has been fighting stage iv leiomyosarcoma (which in incurable) for over 2 years now.

  there have been quite a few ups and downs in her treatments and her prognosis along with way.

  she is a full time pioneer and has been since shortly after her diagnosis.

  9 months into my fade... how things are looking so far...

  so for those that care or are in a similar situation just wanted to give an update how things are on my end as far as fading 9 months in.. april of last year i found out the truth about the truth, took one night of googling and the walls came tumbling down.

  then i read read crisis of conscience, combatting cult mind control, first part of in search of christian freedom and eventually captives of a concept.

  my last ever "meeting" was the 3 day convention in july of last year i attended with my family, i posted about it and just how utterly frustrating it was.

  every now and then my mum reminds me of the time when she was called to my nursery school by the head teacher because i had been telling all my friends that they would be destroyed at armageddon.

  can you imagine what the other parents must have thought when little johnny and little doris went home crying asking why they were going to be destroyed for not sharing a toy.. my mum seems to think it hilarious and implies that i was the one being naughty for saying it in the first place.

  i should never have learnt such things!!

  I recall at about 10 years old my jw friend in same cong as myself used to tell me that his father and mother would constantly hit him and her in the face with an open hand and on the head since they could remember, beatings with a belt buckle and they were not bad kids at all. Most jw's are very angry inside for many obvious reasons then they take out there anger out in different ways. What this father and mother did is inexusable and disgusting. I was always so scared of them when i had to see them weekly and i wouldn't go their house. Later i told my mother and father and they did nothing about it.
