Jesus is Michael the Angel of the Lord but he was not created. He is the ?only begotten Son of God? John 3:18 ?and the express image of his person? Hebrews 1:3 K.J.V. and that means that ever since he was born from the Father?s own substance in eternity?s past he has been equally divine with His Father. The word that was Hebrew word that was translated angel mal'ak {mal-awk'} means messenger, representative and does not mean a created being when it is applied to Jesus. You started out your forum by bringing up Joshua 5:13-15 where Joshua worships the preincarnate Christ the Divine Son of God who called himself the ?captain of the host of the LORD? Joshua 5:14 K.J.V. Or as you said it from your version ? Commander of the Lord's army? Please pay attention to that and let?s look at Michael in the New Testament where he is called the archangel and there is only one archangel. Let us look at this definition for archangel. It is a compound greek word archaggelos {ar-khang'-el-os} which means chief of the angels. I hope it is clear to you that ?commander of the Lord?s army? is the greek word archangel which means ?chief of the angels.? Joshua worshipped the captain of the lord?s host just like Moses worshiped the ?angel of the lord? in Exodus 3. This is proof that this was not a created angel but the Divine Son of God because created angels do not allow themselves to be worshipped. ? And I John saw these things, and heard them. The Adventist Movement

after study... i have concluded that the jw's are nothing more than another off-shoot of the adventist movement.

see below.. the adventist movement (millerites) was started by william miller (a lay baptist minister) in 1843 and that created 3 off-shots.

the advent christian church, the life & advent union, and the seventh-day adventists (which sprang the branch davidians).

There was one thing that you put on your list that shouldn't be there. Seventh Day Adventists do not believe that Jesus came as a spirit. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." The majority of them will make you get baptised into the name of the trinity even though they have no biblical example of the Apostles doing that. I would like to address your other issues with Adventistim at a later time because they do believe in hell. It's just that it's not going on now. When it does go on it will be on the earth for the burn with the sinners and the devil and his angels but it will not be an eternal fire because one day the fire will go out and God will recreate the Earth so the redemed can come back and guess what we'll even keep the Sabbath at that time too. "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." 2nd Peter 3:7 Please also see 2nd Peter 3:10-13. Now picture the redeemed have come back from heaven to inherent the new earth and picture you're there because you knew the Father as the Only True God and Jesus Christ whom he sent as He says do in John 17:3 So you have eternal life and guess what nothing changes as far as the Seventh day goes, it is still God's holy Sabbath day. "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. " Isaiah 66:22,23 I am not a Jehovah's Witness. I don't believe Jesus is created but I do believe he was begotten from the Father's own substance for the Messiah's "...goings forth hath been from old, from everlasting" Micah 5:2 King James Version. Goings forth means origin or beginning. I do believe in the divinity of Christ because he inherited all the divine attributes of His Father since He is "the express image of his person" Hebrews 1:3. Express image means exact copy or precise reproduction. Jesus knew what he was saying when He told Nicodemus the gospel. "For God so loved the world, that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Christ's Resurrection

i know that jw's believe that christ was raised from the dead as an importal spiritual being.

i have a problem with this because jesus said that he would be raised in bodily form.

no jw has been able to explain this scripture to me.

This is the verse Jehovah's Witnesses used on me to support the spiritual ressurection. "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." 1st Corinthians 15:45 Though I don't believe that Jesus was raised as a spirit still I can't get around this verse. And I think it would be silly to say that everytime you see the word spirit that means supernateral. Anyways this might help you prove your point. Tell Jehovah's Witnesses that if Christ didn't have a body when he was resurrected than we won't have one because he is our example and Paul said that "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto HIS GLORIOUS BODY, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." Philipians 3:21 And then you might want to talk about the ascension to them when the angels spoke of Christ in this manner "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:11 But this isn't the last we here of Jesus's ascension. "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. " Daniel 7:13,14 Jesus would not be called the Son of Man if he didn't still have a human body after being ascended. You know the most favorite verse that Jehovah's Witnesses use to try and deny the Divinity of the Son of God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; " 1st Timothy 2:5 Well it says man Christ Jesus and not Spirit Christ Jesus, our mediator still has his Body. Now on to more important matters. "...The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. " Mark 1:15 What is this gospel? "For God so loved the world, that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
