Yes this is big news for us who don’t go to the meeting anymore! I’ll explain why I say this I have not gone to any meetings of JWs for years now, but when I meet my JW friends, the only thing that they say is why don’t you come back to “THE MEETINGS”, they never mention any doctrine at all, just come back to “THE MEETINGS”.
I don‘t think the R&F JW really give a toss about Bible understanding, teachings, doctrines, or any other Truth, just go along to the meetings, be a mindless’s JW who attends meetings, that’s what it is all about, nothing more, just a Religious’ Organization that Meets, oh and by the way it’s a cult, a cult of meetings, keeping you busy all the time, do more do more do more.
This Big Change will go over the heads of “The Meeting goers” completely.

I agree
Everyone should read this book and it should be read by children too, too many people accept that god exists, and never question it. This book is an eye opener. I no longer believe in a “Tea Pot” flying around the solar system anymore, nor should you or anyone.
Well worth reading not easy in parts, and then read other books on evolution like: The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins.

JW's ruin your sex life?

for the last week or so, i've come to the sight every day and i've learned a lot and also remembered more than maybe i wanted to.. so here's my issue: i've been married for 1 1/2 years, together with this man for 5+ years.

I'm male so have a different slant to sex then maybe you do, I was still a Virgin at 29 when I got Married to a Pioneer, I had been goody two shoes all my life and never went too far with a girlfriend. I had many female admirers, but I was a good clean Brother.
I am now divorced and feel my early years where wasted on this Religion, It's just a myth! My sex life was basic, and boring because of the JW rules on sex keeping the marriage bed clean, we did experiment with Oral (she spat) feeling unclean after, you know that guilt type stomach feeling? We even tried anal, I couldn't cope with that either, I felt like a pervert for even desiring that, we divorced.
Friends said women enjoy sex as much as men do, I found that hard to accept at first until I met my new love, she had no hangups, and loves sex everything. She can't leave me alone, and gets so frustrated with me for not always having the energy to perform (when I'm tied) she will try and eat me!
Maybe you don't desire you lover (husband) that much, and that is maybe part of your problem, or maybe you just don't do Oral, we all have different tastes (pun not intended) and desire sexual fulfillment is a personnel thing we are not all the same. Remember that no god is watching you having sex, It's just the two of you, so why worry, as long as both of you are happy to do this or that, why have hangups?
I'm worried that you have spent 8 months in therapy and have made no progress, is this the right therapy for you? It seems to me it's not working. Do you still believe in god, because you really need to examine the facts: on life, creation, evolution, science? I read the book the “Naked Ape” by Desmond Morris, this helped me understand human behavior why we do what we do, it has a really good chapter on Sex, read this book it will open you mind, have a look at REBT http://www.rebt.org/ remember all we are are “Pain Avoiding Pleasure Seeking Animals”

when i was about 12, i got caught drawing the led zeppelin logo in my bible by the meanest elder in the hall.
my mother wouldn't let me out of the house for about 2 months!

agh I took the Book Study for too many years (I was good though), we must have gone through the revelation book 3 times. But it makes me so angry looking back as I took this study, and I was well in “the truth”, yet at the same time, the WTS was a member of the UN as NGO.... What crooks.... It was this book that made a big thing of the UN, and yet they had membership!!! as I dutifully presided over the weekly “book study” I'm so angry....
'pleasuredome' I clearly remember when “the revelation Book” was released the brother "shouted“ It,s fiery red because it has a fiery message for the world” clap clap clap. That was at the District convention at Derby County, Baseball Ground.

Yep still there, but not as it was when Robin Hood fought with the sheriff of Nottingham, It’s just north of Nottingham, and around the Mansfield area, Centre Parks is a holiday centre, all year round covered in swimming pool and all the trappings and excitement of a holiday village. frogit
